Dined at Ikkyu on a recent trip to Fiji, when staying at the Tanoa International Hotel. Didn't know quite what to expect but we were so delighted with our meal. The restaurant itself is small but it has a decent menu and a number of daily specials, many of which were seafood. Food was simple but very well cooked. Every... More

A friend who loves good sashimi took us to this restaurant when we were in Nadi recently. The prices were quite reasonable compared to other Japanese restaurants in Nadi and the food was quite delicious. The only drawback to our dining experience was that our server must have been new as she brought the wrong dishes to us and there... More

We visit this restaurant every time we are in Nadi. Still the cleanest and best tasting food by far that we have eaten on this holiday.Friendly staff with genuine Japanese chefs. My advice Forget the rest and visit the Best

Restaurant was overwhelmed when six of us turned up for dinner and service was very slow and rather expensive.

This used to be in Nadi town and the owners are lovely people who always greet you with a smile, food is lovely and they have a nice set up now. Try a variety of different dishes and share with warm sake - you won't be disappointed!

We went to this restaurant with friends recently and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this restaurant. The service was fine, the food was average to good. The price was certainly right - this is a very inexpensive Japanese cuisine option in Nadi and one that we will certainly give another go! We ordered individual meals on recommendation of... More

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days, but kept going to Daikoku where we thought food was great, until we finally dined at Ikkuyu. It's a small restaurant inside the Tanoa International Hotel's restaurant. There are 2 or 3 private rooms and 6 or 7 tables for 3-4. We ordered tuna and salmon small sushi rolls, teriyaki chiken and fried... More

This restaurant has become a must visit whenever my husband and I have been in Nadi. We have fallen in love with the food and it is damn amazing. We have eaten at most of the Japanese restaurants both in suva and Nadi. And this is our number one on the list. It has a warm and cozy atmosphere. plus... More

I was staying at the Tanoa International in Nadi and was fortunate that the hotel was home to this amazing japanese restaraunt. I ordered a small Tuna Sashimi for FJD 14 which just melted in my mouth, no fishy smell, so fresh, and filled me up! And followed it with a lovely warm miso soup for FJD 3.00. The service... More

Based within the Tanoa Hotel, Ikkyu is authentic home style Japanese food in Nadi! Wow. The maguro sashimi was so good we had seconds instead of dessert, the agedashi tofu and tonkatsu were excellent. We didn't book and were there when it opened, but every table was filled by the time we left. Daikoku is slipping so for your Japanese... More
