A definite must for lovers of Japanese food, and would encourage you to go for lunch and dinner - service was also very good. We left with a couple of their 'inside-out salmon rolls' to have on the beach back at the resort with a bottle of champs........ inexpensive and superb!

It's my second visit to Fiji but it's my forth visits to this restaurant! Food: Assorted sashimi (L) - very fresh, beautiful arrangement. Teppanyaki - big portion and it fed us all up! Service: Friendly people. Teppanyaki chef and waitresses were all friendly. I've ordered and drunk a lot of sake, and the waitress gave me a cup of green... More

First of all, I did not like the service at all; the waitresses were not that friendly; I expected them to be knowing that Daikoku has gained a good reputation in Nadi amongst tourists and expats... The interior of the restaurant has a Japanese feel to it, with several Teppanyaki tables... Concerning the food, we've tried: Japanese Salad: Delicious Assortment... More

We were taken here by local friends. Food great, service attentive, tappinyaki BBQ was entertaining.

I eat here regularly on business trips to Fiji. The food is consummately well prepared and the service is friendly and punctual. This last visit saw a Tokyo resident at my table who assured me that is was equally authentic. The Teppanyaki chefs are interesting to watch but not as imaginative as in Japan. Kids always enjoy the show! My... More

Food is a little pricey for the portion sizes but very delicious. Staff are friendly but service was slow even though there were heaps of staff working.

Thank you very much for dining at Daikoku Restaurant. I feel sometimes too slow as well to take the next action by our current team. But current team doesn't have enough experience yet however they shows good reaction and sign of improvement. I hope that is matter of time, More

Daikoko used to be my favourite place to eat but over the years the quality has gone down and the price has gone up, they seem to have a high staff turnover and maybe that's why the service is so slow even though they have staff hovering around they all seem to be in training. The lunch special is still... More

Thank you very much for your patronage. I have been monitoring our quality and service. Compared to the good old Fiji days, Cost and relevant fees went up, lots of staff left. But Lots of staff joined as well, Something changed, But I believe that those change were not always negative change. I feel that especially, quality of Tuna, and... More

Great food and wine choices and wonderful teppanyaki skills displayed by the local chefs. Can't beat the sashimi here! Service is amazing - worth a visit!

Thank you very much for dining at Daikoku Restaurant. What we are trying to do is hybrid service (Japanese Service with Fijian Hospitality spirits). This is not easy mission but we move forward step by step for customers to feel a little bit of Japan in Fiji. More

Daikoku has to be the best Japanese restaurants in Fiji if not the South Pacific. It offers great food (both A La Carte and Tepanyaki). The meals are very well done and delicious! This restaurant also rates well on the consistency front. The service is always prompt and with a smile. While the restaurant is not cheap, it is certainly... More
