The food freshly served as its cooked directly in front of you. Staff also friendly... You may need to be a little bit of patience since they cook directly in front of you amd wait till your turn if you are sharing table with others

The Nadi Daikoku is far inferior to the Suva Daikoku, and has deteriorated badly. The chefs have dropped most of the characteristic style, and look completely bored, cook badly, and rush to get away. Great shame. Daikoku Suva is one of our favourites. Daaikoku Nadi gave me a stomach upset.

I've visited daikoku in Auckland countless times, and this one is not too different. Classic Japanese menu, executed well enough without any massive dramas, without blowing anybody's minds either. We'd all managed to order a few smaller items and a tepanyaki main each too, which was probably the problem, we had a trainee chef that had our mains cooked with... More

Great Japanese restaurant. Loved the sashimi. Restaurant has a great japanese feel to it. Tepanayki was also great and we loved the chilli fish.

I have dined at Daikoku in Suva and Nadi more times than I can count. Usually we have teppan-yaki but the last time I was traveling alone and chose to sit at the sushi bar. It was perfect...the food was fabulous, as always and the sushi chef was friendly and informative.

We enjoyed dinner at Daikoku's while visiting Denarau Island and it was worth the 15 minute drive. Always nice to get out of the resort and try something local. Be sure to make reservations as they fill up quickly. The Teppanyaki presentations was outstanding.

I eat a lot of japanese no matter where I travel & this restaurant has come out on top every time. Subtle & exceptional service combined with super fresh & delicious cuisine. Great service & atmosphere. There is a fantastic menu for everyone. The best sashimi I have ever tasted. Absolutely love this place!

Japanese/Teppanyaki in Fiji? Arrived with our group of 14, were taken up stairs and seated. Had no idea what to order so tried the Carnivore platter. We were told to order Yum Yum prawns for a starter so we did. The best prawns we have ever tried, a must if that's all you have. The platter was great also. Way... More

Thank you very much for dining at Daikoku Restaurant. Currently, we do not have any other Japanese staff in the shop (I am the only one Japanese in Management), though, From my point of view, Local staffs are able to do good performance unless they forgot what is told. More
