Top end dining - shouldn't have a menu that has a flash name but is really fish and chips - great view and beautiful setting. Food is o.k , I was kind of expecting better for the price but I prefer Rickshaw cafe which is owned by the same people in muri but has a vietnamese menu...much better food. I... More

Really delicious food, wonderful service, beautiful setting and view. This restaurant is in a lovely old building and a must when your in Rarotonga. Quite pricey but well worth it.

Sue Curruthers is famous in the Pacific for her cooking (buy one of her cookbooks at the restaurant) This rennovated historic house on the beach serves up lovely food with really really good service. Sue and husband Robbie have impeccable standards and this place is somewhere you will want to go to more than once. Do a Sunday brunch and... More

This is a truly wonderful place! While it does not have the cultural attractions (dancing, etc.) of other locations, the history, service, setting, atmosphere, and of course, food are incredible! A 'must go' for visitors to Rarotonga!

We made reservations at the Tamarind House with the expectation that our experience there would top our line-up of honeymoon dining. We made our reservation at the restaurant's open time and were advised that it'd be smart to arrive early to take-in the views and specialty cocktails. Eager to enjoy the views of the last closing hours of sunlight on... More

Beautiful views (not great for sunset since it's a more north facing, but still pretty). The food was good -- but the portions were very large - consider sharing.

Tamarind House is a beautiful colonial house with great history. The dining area has a gorgeous view out to the water. Food is always lovely - a great lunch spot!

This is one of the pricier places on Raro, but it is absolutely worth it. The food is exquisite and served with warmth and skill in a gorgeous colonial style house overlooking the sea. We went back twice (it was our honeymoon!) and every thing we tried, the wine, the service, the setting - EVERYTHING was perfect. Highly recommended! One... More
