We came here twice on our holiday when we felt like something light for lunch and dinner. The raw fish was amazing, Each version, sashimi, with soy, coconut cream and with the herb mix, were all delicious. The fish was so incredibly fresh.

Tahiti Cafe was disappointing this time as this was my favorite in 2013, the platter was ok but not as fresh and tasty as it seemed last year, plus the price had gone up 25% which was a surprise.

We were most impressive by the fresh fish available here. Although quite pricey, the portions are very generous! We all had the sashimi tuna done four different ways which was brilliant.

If you find yourself on Rarotonga, please make sure to get to Tahiti Cafe. It is very simple, very basic but in that, what they do is amazing. Just do yourself a favor and get the Fisherman's Platter. It has several sauces and different ways of serving sashimi that you will salivate over thinking of the memory of it. Be... More

Stopped at Tahiti Cafe for a late lunch and was pleased I did. The Fisherman's Platter was fresh, tasty and good value. One point off because the service was slow (the place was empty), although they were apologetic about it which helps. They only do fish from memory but if that's your thing then don't miss it.
