I like to sit outside, internet and have a flat white and a proper Breakfast of poached eggs and beans, my dream breakfast on vacation. ICafe salsa delivered perfectly. It's a lovely spot under trees on the picnic tables and I can even get a nice chilled nu for a great start for the day.

This was pretty much just an "OK" place to grab a bit to eat. It was funny to see how the staff changed their attitudes once a cruise ship docked and the passengers were visiting for the day.

So an iced coffee on this island means coffee with ice cream. All good the same. Always get coffee from the expresso machines on this island. Their island coffee is awful

Have had many breakfast and lunches here on my frequent visits to the island. My flat white is ready almost before I sit down! Staff are friendly and fast and I must say it is nice to see their familiar faces time and time again. A good sign I'd say. The food is reasonably priced (love the Egg Avarua!)and always... More

Right in the heart of Avarua is this delightful cafe with a fantastic menu, including the wood fired pizza. Always try a smoothie, always try a banana split and always try the salads. A place to sit, relax, watch the rest of the world pass by, the ever present bird life with their young. Plenty of drinks both alcohol and... More

We went to Cafe Salsa for lunch our first day on Raro. This busy, open-air cafe is centrally located in town and exudes a welcoming feeling. We were blown away by how great the service was! Service was fast-paced, prompt, and very attentive. Our server was welcoming, friendly and always smiling. The thai chicken salad was pretty good, and the... More

wonderful staff, after our first visit they would see us arrive on our scooters and have our drinks and a table already under way! Best raw fish on the Island. The pizza looked and smelled great but it was too hot for Pizza. Live music at nights. Great location right in the town but outdoor seating under trees. could not... More

we stopped here for lunch as its very central in the middle of town by the shopping stores. The kids loved the iced chocolate as did I love the iced coffee. they had salads which were nice and pasta which was also good. I ordered the pate which sadly was horrible. ( Especially after Trader jacks fabulous pate). I should... More
