I visited the Aquarius while waiting for a flight to Aitutaki after arriving from New Zealand late afternoon. We were a group of seven, including two young children and the bar is situated very close to the airport. The children immediately went to look for shells and to play round the pool. The beer was cold, the fish and chips... More

We had this place suggested to us as a place to go for dinner while waiting for early morning flight. There were barely any people there. Started off ok, then were happy for us to leave our bags at the entrance, drinks, menus, mains. Food was ok, nothing to rave about. The kitchen apparently closes at 9pm which was not... More

Probably the second best food on the Island! Narrowly beaten by Kikau Hut but excellent service and great value. Went for both lunch and dinner, on different days. Pizza was great, island fries were great, steak was epic and perfectly cooked.

We have two small children so it not always ideal to be off on adventures and in the sun at the beach. I stumbled on to this place looking for a Pizza (which they do well) but it was the awesome staff that made the place so more more enjoyable. A lady by the name of Dawn is worth every... More

We ended up here during a long layover. The restaurant is "almost" right across the street from the Raro airport, so we used the airport's rolling luggage carts and brought over our suitcases (taking the carts was permitted by the airport). The restaurant welcomed us warmly, asking us to bring our luggage in and have a seat anywhere and stay... More

This restaurant has it all! A pool right in the middle of the restaurant, how neat is that. Plus hammocks and sun loungers out to the side in the sun. Food was very nice and we'll priced. Staff were very friendly, would highly recommend checking this place out if you are visiting the island.

We arrived back at Rarotonga from Aitutaki at 7.30pm and had to wait several hours before our midnight departure to New Zealand. The security officer at the airport recommended we go to the Aquarius for dinner as they are open late. Almost our whole plane load headed over there. I ordered a chicken & cranberry pizza and mum had a... More

A great view to relax and have a drink and meal while you wait for your next flight. Very handy to the airport its a pity they have taken the dorm unit out it would have been good to have got some sleep while we waited there.

The service is excellent at this place. It's never too crowded and it is roomy. The fish is incredible at most places on the island and this restaurant is no exception. The bar offers a variety of drinks and serves the local beer, which is a drink you must try while in Rarotonga. The food is cheap as well, which... More

We eat there on a regular basis. The menu is not as extensive as some but the food is always good. The servings are large and the price is lower than most restaurants on Rarotonga. Prices are less then half what they are at the two largest hotels on the Island. Service is excellent which is a rarity for Rarotonga.
