We popped in for a quick lunch and a couple of beers. They catered for that, but it is probably not what they do best. The place was grubby, and tired. It may be a great place late at night with the music turned up, but that was not what we were there for

It was Friday night and Trader Jack's was fully booked so it was up the stairs to this restaurant. There wasn't a great deal of choice but the food, served plated, was hot and tasty and very inexpensive. We didn't have time to wait to see the floor show, for which a small additional charge is made.

The entree of chips were the best chips all three of us had ever had - the taro ones were amazing! The staff were so lovely and telling us local interesting facts. The food was yummy local fresh fish and awesome portions and taste. Yummy cheap cocktails. But best of all the show was wonderful - traditional dance, with bright... More

I highly recommend trying out the island night (Thursdays and Fridays I believe) ... It's a really authentic, family run business so it's very charming, my wife and I loved the fact that the young generation participate in the show :). I give it a 5 star because I rate based on value and you really get your money's worth... More

There are many "island nights" in Rarotonga but few that are as warm and welcoming as that offered by Shannon and her wonderful staff. As soon as we walked in the door we were fussed over and made to feel at home. At $30 a head we wondered about the quality of the food and entertainment on offer as similar... More

The food was like a home cooked meal. We went for the island night but we were the only ones who were there. We didn't stay for the show. Well worth the visit for the food.

The manager Shannon and her family gave me a wonderful welcome, I had met her previously, and she had suggested I come and experience the Staircase cultural night on the Thursday. It was wonderful, the meal, view, service, drinks and dancing and singing. What an amazing setting, I'm really pleased I went. Thank you Shannon, you're a brilliant hostess/manager with... More

My husband and I went to see the island night and have a traditional island meal. Well worth the money and the staff were excellent. Shannon was so lovely and her aunty in the kitchen. The cocktails were awesome and at $5 a cocktail why not go back. We also went up on the Saturday night for their $10 steak... More
