Our hosts were Michelle and Andy McFarlane from New Zealand. We were recommended by their future daughter in law Hayley. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and wanting to go somewhere very special. Well we found it at Tuoro Restaurant at Black Rock. Each time we are back in Rarotonga Tuoro will be our Brunch choice.

We loved our lunch at Tuoro. Michelle is a fantastic hostess & Jasmines food was absolutely delicious. Great Ika Mata! & wonderful spot on the hill looking out over beautiful gardens & ocean. Excellent value for money, we thoroughly recommend for all serious foodies.

Wow!! Awesome food and excellent atmosphere. Pork dumplings were to die. We were gutted that we only found the place on our last day in Raro. Will be going back just for the excellent service alone. Best place to eat on the island. Many Thanks, Ian and Vanessa White, Nelson, NZ

Read about the dumplings before a recent visit to Raro. We weren't disappointed. They were delicious, well presented and the thai sauce is to die for! Great service too! We went back three times.

We had lunch here recently and I have to say it may be the best (restaurant) meal I've ever had during 30+ years of traveling to Raro! A sublime hilltop tropical garden locale, we had fish wontons and pork dumplings from the tapas menu as an entree which were fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious. Then I had coconut poached chicken... More

We enjoyed a lunch here, where there was the option of Tapas or conventional courses. We chose the tapas and enjoyed our meal. The setting is delightful. Very private, elevated above and back from the road, and with just a few outdoor tables so the place wasn't too crowded. We will eat here again.

Great lil spot situated up on the hill over looking Black Rock & the Pacific beyond & conveniently located just a short drive from the Airport. We stopped in for a quick bite before dropping friends off to their flight & were pleasantly surprised to find a varied menu & between us we ordered the Piggy Soo, Big Willz Steak... More

We went to Black Rock twice while we were in Raro after meeting Michelle and Andy out one night. The first time I wasn't very hungry so just had chips. Was very jealous of my partners steak sandwich when it come out so we had to come back so I could have one aswell. Beautiful live music was playing the... More
