Only open for lunch from 11-3pm, this little cafe high on a hill is a hidden gem. Tasty food and very cheap. All the tapas that we had ( 6 dishes between 4 of us) were excellent. San Choy bou and tuna stuffed squid being the highlight. Prices around $10-15 per plate, quite generous portions.

We saw this cafe up on a hill, so called in for coffee. The proprietor came out to ask us to park differently as it was a small car park. we came in for coffee only which did not seem very welcome as several tables were reserved for lunch. However we did get served good coffee and enjoyed the view.... More

What a fantastic place, outstanding service, devine food, gorgeous outlook, the best coffee's and you just have to try out the amazing Tapa's and Meals, and of course the Tutti Fruiti cocktail. After staying next door at the Black Rock Villas - we spent most of our time dining at the Tuoro Cafe. Can't wait to be back again. :o)

The only place on Rarotonga that I know of that has a Tapas menu. I have dined here several times on different days of the week. Sunday afternoon lunch is a bonus with live entertainment. The food is always consistently pleasing and very different from other menus offered on the island. I love this place!

We had lunch today, Michelle was great fun to talk to and knew how to look after us. The food was perfect with well-cooked Asian inspired tapas and good local beer. IF that wasn't enough, the view of the ocean was amazing with a hill-side setting. Great place, definitely be going back when we next visit!

We have been holidaying in Rarotonga for the last 8 years and have often seen the sign and the great reviews for Tuoro but have never managed to get there until recently in November. What a lovely spot, a great hostess and yummy food. We will definitely go back.
