The prices are very high, one of the most expensive place I have visited in Uruguay, it should not be a problem if the food was good. But the quality was medium low, no much difference with any fast food place. Small portions, expensive service due you pay for the use of the cutlery, no matter what you eat, and... More

We wanted to have dinner her but it was 19:30 and they opened the kitchen at 20:00 so we had to leave a wait. However, once we got to eat, we had a nice time. The meat was not as great as we expected, but it was OK. On our last day, we stopped by to have some coffee with... More

It's several years since our last visit to Montevideo, and Don Peperone used to be one of our favourite restaurants. Returning there this February, we were sad to see that both the food and the service had declined (though the flan remains excellent!). We are unlikely to go back to this restaurant and are unable to recommend it to others.

I was a little disappointed by Don Peperone in Punta Carretas. Service was very poor. Food was good but I believe that it had a good name and now they do not keep up with its good reputation

Not terrific, just ok. Didn't appear or taste to be tremendously fresh. Cranks out a lot of food though in one night. Fast Food. Enough said.

Not a very warm welcome. Waitresses were extremely bored and not very friendly, just threw the food and drinks on the table without any '¡buen provecho!'. The food was ok, nothing special, a bit overpriced. Would not recommend this place...

We arrived and the service was poor with an unfriendly waitress. The place was recommended to us for a good place pasta. The menu was unnecessarily complicated but we ordered salmon ravioli and penne wit salmon and cream sauce. The penne was just alright, kinda cold, slightly overcooked pasta and very little salmon. The ravioli was inedible, tasted exceptionally fishy,... More

Nice family atmosphere and a good place to dine with friends. Food is good and service is okay. You will find something you like there as the menu is extensive. Walk your meal off in the mall, window shop and get an ice cream.

We went to the one on Bart. Mitre in the near Plaza Independencia. Ordered penne with bolognese and tagliatelle with carbonara. The first had a decent flavor, but barely and sauce and mainly a bowl of penne. The latter was absolutely tasteless. And the service was lazy from the moment we arrived.
