Good Sushi and Caipirinhas

This is a trendy bar in Carrasco with fresh sushi and good drinks. I like the atmosphere and the staff are friendly.

We have one night in Montevideo & while at lunch at La Pasiva we asked a local where would be the best place to eat near the Sofitel if you had just one night in Montevideo. He was right one the money. Cozy, romatic atmosphere. Attentive staff. The food was excellent! I went very boring by my standards (trying to... More

One of the best options in Montevideo. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good drinks and menu adapts to every customer - small but varied. Salads and the tiraditos are very nice. Try the "chocolate a morir" for dessert if you are a chocoholic!

this place is amazing, crowd, athmosphere, fun is at the best. Very good to start and end with drinks in this beautiful area of MV. But food is barely decent. They try to avoid serving you parrilla and they improvise some fish with roquefort or other strange things that for euro costumers are quite appalling. Tried even a sushi night... More

I ordered a dish based on pink salmon. A few minutes later, I was served some sort of river fish (corvina, maybe) that had been painted in a pink-reddish clumsy way. I returned it, paid for my drink, and left. This was my first and last visit to "Café Misterio". I believe the real "mystery" lays in the ingredients utilized... More

Undoubtedly the best place in town. Located in beautiful Carrasco district, the place is vibrant, with a great atmosphere, excellent food, great service. Don´t miss the Sushi, the recently added Pink Sashimi is fantastic. But since it has a very good menu, it is a place to go more than once.

Good sushi and great people watching. Reservations are a must. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.
