We went for lunch

I was staying at Sheraton, were there were no space to meet a client, it was lunch time so I asked him let's go to a place outside where we can talk and we can have lunch, and he briught me here. The main meals are meat which I don't eat, but there were options also for me. Location was... read more

We came for for lunch with a big group of 9. Service is friendly & efficient. They had our table up and ready in no time. Menu is good with ample choices, less seafood more BBQ and pasta. I was not impressed with the BBQ and the seafood (ok but not outstanding). However, the pasta dishes were all absolutely great... More

I had the ribeye steak with mushroom cream sauce. Steak was an even medium rare, super juicy with good grill crust. The sauce wasn't super mushroomy but very creamy and paired really well with the steak. The steak even came with a side which is extra everywhere else. Don't order the seafood pasta. It uses frozen seafood consisting of calamari,... More

if you are staying at Sheraton and don't want to suffer another room service dinner, you need to walk just 100 meters and enjoy La Perdiz. Very good service, nice ambience, good prices and nice food. You can eat at the bar and chat with friendly staff and other business travelers

Excellent food and service, as well as great value. Did not like we did not get an outside table as the tables outside were full. It was a great evening in all.

No one coming to visit Montevideo should miss a lunch or diner at this excellent restaurant. The fare is definitely and completely Uruguayan: all the important beef cuts prepared expertly at a charcoal grill (parrilla). There are also excellent pastas and fish. Appetizers are tantalizing and do, what they are supposed to do: leave you expecting anxiously for your entrees.... More

I am a regular at La Perdiz whenever I visit Montevideo, and that's about four to five times a year. I enjoy about everything here, from the authentically friendly service, over the savory food, to the inviting atmosphere. My favorite dishes are the simple salads blended according to your order (try arugula with remolacha and cebolla) , the savory grilled... More

Food is excellent be it grilled meat or fish or seafood. Good wine selection and lots of beer. Be sure to make a reservation because it's packed every night. The place is "nice noisy" and in summer nights I prefer to sit outside. Waiters/waitresses are very helpful.
