Across from Punta Carretas Shopping and Sheraton Hotel in a corner you will find La Perdiz. If you can book ahead or wait for a table at the bar!!!. BUT make sure you go.... So much to choose from, so go hungry... The staff are great and are always looking at your needs...specially if you are waiting around fro the... More

We visited La Perdiz on the recommendation of a friend. It was good (I've seen better in Montevideo) but popular well located and the food better than your usual fare with a good menu featuring a wide range of appetizers, entrées and that includes an extensive fish menu. I'm giving the restaurant 4 stars versus 5. Service was attentive but... More

A local recommended La Perdiz to us, which is located across from the Sheraton hotel in Montevideo. This was the best meal we had in Montevideo. First of all, the service was amazing! This was probably the only restaurant on our trip that the restaurant employees actually cared if we were happy and checked on us multiple times. The meal... More

La Perdiz is normally fully packed. So please do make reservation. The food is great and the wine list is rather acceptable. My girlfriend ordered lamb shops that were very tasty, but my babybeef was delicious, and cooked to perfection. Staff is very well trained and eficiente.

La Perdiz is a lovely restaurant with a menu ranging from the grilled steaks (expected in Uruguay) accompanied by nicely prepared vegetable side dishes to pasta and great salads. The service is attentive and the tables set outside provide "people watching" entertainment. The location (close to the Radisson Hotel) is convenient for shopping.

Excellent food, with a good selection of typical uruguayan fare; very good place; always full; must reserve with plenty of time. Winelist is somewhat pricey.

I came here with some friends for a nice evening out. This place was very average, the staff was nice and it was affordable. I ordered a meat lasagna and got the wrong order but the waitress fixed it quickly. The meat lasagna was very good, I think I paid 330 pesos for it. Very average but good :)

Not easy to get a place though, that's what everybody told us. We just walked by an hour before opening and checked it out, and were lucky. The place is big, but popular, also among groups (of tourists?). You may sit inside or outside. Typical Uruguayan menu: delicious starters with ham and cheese and staff or seafood or salads, as... This place is strategically located a block within 2 blocks the Sheraton hotel, the Punta Carretas shopping center and the waterfront. It offers a long menu of meat, fish and pasta dishes prepared along traditional lines. The food is tasty and the service is good. Prices are middle of the road for good Montevideo restaurants. I find this restaurant to... More
