The restaurant has a great atmosphere, good food and an excellent wine list. I ate there twice on my last visit to Montevideo. Service was faster on the first visit, but the food quality never faltered. The restaurant is a little pricey, but you get large serving portions. I would recommend the restaurant, and would eat there again, but suggest... More

Great food, great staff, great wine, good dessert. Came back 2 times at the same stay. Try the risotto de cordeiro.

Stodgy, unimaginative, unappealing, all-cooked-in-the-same-oil menu which you can have in least two dozen other restaurants in town for a third of the price. Deserts were also run of the mill. Good and extensive regional wine list at ludicrous prices; between 3x and 4x the retail price. The exterior and interior decorations are utterly amateur. The service was courteous and quick.... More

There is a good ambience in both (Carrasco is better) restaurants, it has a good choice of foods without being too many option, in order to keep good quality. Sushio option is good as well barbeque and rissottos ai funghi porcini and bacon is a must. All people is very attentive and kind.

Francis is without doubt the best option if you are staying at Punta Carretas neighbourhood. All kinds of food and at a very good quality level. A great selection of wines and very friendly service. Maybe a little bit too expensive for Uruguay, but definelty a must when you visit Montevideo.

I eat there very often. The ribs are very good, even when I ask for extra sauce. The risottos and the pasta are also other good choices. Wines are well selected for their menu and even when I´m not a dessert fan, everybody agree that they are very good.

After being disappointed with the restaurants in Montevideo, this one was finally the right choice. Quality food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Good for gourmets!
