The goods: - Tablet menus. With easy-to-see pictures, these tablet menus were different! - Security. The door is always closed, like many others have already mentioned. Somehow it made me feel more cozy! - Good atmosphere & interior. The restaurant is very quiet, peaceful, and full of beautiful decorations. - Friendly people. The servers were friendly, which is always nice.... More

I will simply state, a truly amazing dining experience. The food is not merely the best I've had in Uruguay, it is amongst the best I've had anywhere. The service was top notch, the servers treated us like family. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Uruguay.

The place is very cute, tablet menu with pictures! The door is always closed and guests have to bell to get inside. Food is so good that I am going back soon.

We selected this place for a couple of reasons. The first is that it holds the #1 spot in Montevideo on TripAdvisor. The second was we were looking for a dining change of pace after 3 weeks in south america (meat, meat, meat). Tandory didn't disappoint. Similar to most of the reviews, the Chef was active in the dining room.... More

We made a reservation at 22h at Tandory. When we got our table, the chef came to introduce himself, helped us choosing our meal and was really nice. The menu was on tablets, which is very modern. The food was really good, with influences from all over the world, and not too expensive. Unfortunately the service of the waiters was... More

Dear Customer. Thanks for your comments, we try to give great service, we started very early every day, but at night our forces are not the same. Especially on weekends where we get a lot of people, it is normal that we finish tired with lower level of concentration. For us midnight is the end of a long day. We're... More

I love the place, the service and food. The restaurant is the perfect place for a quite dinner with your other half or some all good friends. The chef/owner comes to the tables to chat and suggest what to eat. Everything was perfect. Me encanto el lugar, el servicio y la comida. Es el sitio perfecto para una cena romantica... More

The service and environment are excellent. The chef himself introduced the special dishes. Both our choices were excellent, intense and different. Many vegetarian options (unusual in Uruguay). From the bread to the desserts, a great recommendable experience, to escape from the traditional.

In a city not known for its restaurant culture, Tandory stands alone. The menu is given to you on a tablet, and is far ranging. The chef hovers around to make you feel welcome...English is spoken by all the staff. Yes its more expensive than most...main courses were 400+ pesos, but after pizza, steak, chivitos etc, this provides a welcome... More

We went following the warm recommendation of tripadvisor, and were very disappointed. Decor was very nice but food was mediocre at best. Very heavy handed sauces and flavors of classic dished were completely off. Also no trace of local cuisine and quite expensive. Don't waste your time.

Dear Sir,: Your comment surprises us, seems to refer to another restaurant, for these reasons : 1. You do not talk about personal attention 2. You do not mention our great selection of wines and cellar 3. You forget that this is a fusion restaurant where all products are fresh, organic and natural. 4. You say there is no trace... More
