Romantic view of the city across the bay

Elegant restaurant, white tablecloths, candlelit, with a great view. The food was quite good, the wine recommendations excellent, and the service was superb in Spanish and English.

I was there with a friend and we ordered two "Margarita de frutos rojos" it wasn't even close what a Margarita means and I couldn't find the "frutos rojos" I just saw strawberries, also we order a "tabla para dos", the salami wasn't good, I just saw two slice of camembert and plain of black olives. I was totally disappointing!... More

Upscale, good views over the water and quality service in a relaxed environment. Nicely plated food, good if small mix of vegetarian seafood and meat choices, a short winelist and good desserts. If you want a calm, quiet place for a lunch or working dinner this is a good choice.

I think that the view and the service were the greatest value here. The view is absolutely great, and we found the service being exceptionally attentive. The food and drinks were very good, but not exceptional. I'd definitely go back for the sunset!

we went for coffee at sunset , the view is magnificent , very well located , but unfortunately after waiting 20 minutes for coffee and a tea they came with a very different order to what we expected. It's a pity that the service is so bad and unprofessional.

The view in this place is amazing. Its a great place to go for a drink and enjoy the sunset. Not so much for dinner. I went there with my family and found it to be overpriced with very average food. We had the eggplant parmesan and calamari for starters and they were pretty bland. For the main course we... More

If their kitchen would have been better, they could have easily earned four or even five points, but their meat dish as well as their desert war rather average. But their rooftop terrace is outrageously perfect for sundowners and pre-dinner drinks to watch the sun going down at the other side of the bay: you do not want to miss... More

The goods: - Beautiful view. Actually, this depends on where you sit. You can either get an excellent view of the back of peoples' heads, or a nice view of the ocean. Choose wisely. - Friendly service. The man who were serving us was very attentive, spoke English, and was extremely friendly. In fact, this is one of the very... More

This a very well situated restaurant (tea house) sitting over the Rio de la Plata and with one of the most exclusive views of the sun setting over Montevideo. You may just want to stop outside and enjoy the view, as the service itself is terrible. Slow, expensive, low quality, waiters are not trained. You don´t want to spend your... More
