This place is horrible, without confort and charm. The pizza is too bad! Who thougth that it was good? Certainly, doesn't know what is a great e truth pizza!!! Argh!!!!!

The pizza was absolutely amazing, the faina was delicious!!! I reheated the pizza the next day and it still kept it's crunch and tasted so good. This place makes my mouth water. As for the service it took a long time just to order but once in the food came fast. This is my pizza place!!

at the hostel, the staff recomend this pizzeria... and they were right when sayng "oh! you need to go here... they make the best pizza in Montevideoo" a good tip: in Uruguay, if you ask for pizza you're gonna get it without the cheese... so make sure you ask for a MUZZARELLA if you want the regular one ;)

I've been to El Horno de Juan in Portones and it is truly the best pizza in Montevideo! Although you can't call ahead to order nor do they deliver, the wait out in the cold is definitely worthwhile. Although the place itself is not very much comfortable to eat at (you'll probably prefer to eat at home) the mozzarellas are really superb!
