We stopped in last Saturday eve. Although the restaurant was not open as they were working on improvements, Guillermo graciously opened the gate, fired up the wood oven and made us a superb pizza. You can tell the atmosphere, service, and offerings on a regular day must be terrific. Recommended.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at moderate cost in this friendly, well run and welcoming restaurant. The owner showed us round the beautiful garden, which provided some of the herbs, fruit and vegetables for the restaurant.

Overall: I went to Añañau one evening and found that I was the only one there (a storm pending, few people ventured out that night). Even so, they took my reservation and greeted me warmly when I arrived. Later, when the storm broke and phone lines were down, the staff (Lucy and the owner) helped me to arrange transportation and... More

Wow so this has been a surprise. Peruvian cuisine has been hyped up for me prior to my trip but I've been disappointed so far in Lima and sacred valley. We ventured out of the hotel and found this hidden place pretty close to our hotel. The facilities are nice with a great garden and 270 degree panoramic view of... More

Lucy was amazing! She and her husband, Wilson went above and beyond to provide nothing but the best service and experience we had in Peru! We visited them twice while we were in the sacred valley and we would tell everyone to go there!! Lucy, your chicago friends miss you!! We were fortunate to experience a great dining experience at Ananau Restaurant in Urubamba, Peru. The restaurant is very quaint, and food is the very best. In addition, Ms. Lucy, who waited on us was delightful. She speaks and understands English, which amd our dining experience even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this restaurant when you plan to visit MachuPichu.... More

This restaurant is a short walk from the Sonesta Posada del Inca Hotel in Yucay. The dining rooms is cozy in a garden like setting with lots of windows. The dinner menu is diverse and included traditional Peruvian dishes as well as pastas, pizza, soups and sandwiches. There is a small bar with interesting wine selections. The staff was helpful... Our tour guide took us to this restaurant for dinner while we were staying in the Sacred Valley and it was one of my favorite memories from our entire trip! The pizzas were so good and better than anything I've ever had, I was so upset when I was too full to finish mine haha! Also, our server, Lucy, was... More

After our long travel, i wanted to eat some typical Peruvian food. So instead of having it from the Hotel Sonesta where we stayed, thought of walking around to find some local restuarants. We were lucky to find this just 5 mins walk from Hotel Sonesta. Very nice atmosphere. Typical authentic Peruvian food. We had a unique Lomo Saltado, and... More

Wow! We found this gem while on a walk. Beautiful setting and view. Very clean. Food was great and reasonably priced. But the best part of the experience was our server, Lucy. Kind and attentive. You will be hard-pressed to fine anyone better anywhere in your world travels. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed!!
