My husband and I had a wonderful food experience here !! Our tour package with GOTOPERU included this stop for lunch. The site was near the river and hovering over the river bank beautiful trees and flowers welcomed the hungry travelers. Plus, Peruvian musicians played their instruments while we relaxed and selected our many mouth watering dishes from the colorful... More

The buffet was beautiful and we tried everything. The alpaca in coriander sauce was really good. We had a good experience but there was only one friendly staff member working the tables. We were the only ones dining and we must have missed the big crowd. We were almost done with our meal when we received our very over priced... More

Like everyone else, we stopped here for lunch as part of our tour of the Sacred Valley. The food on offer was wide-ranging and always having eyes bigger than my stomach I waded in and tried practically everything. Big mistake! Did I overeat or was the hygiene a bit questionable? Either way I wasn't feeling good some 8 hours later... More

we arrived there because the driver of our van recommended it. I believe they get free food when they bring in hungry tourists. The buffet looks nice but it was awful. Me and my wife felt really bad, had an upset stomach after eating here and couldn't eat any food for the next two days. I really regret that I... More

We like most patrons here were on a bus tour of Sacred Valley. Colourful birds greet you on entering. We were ushered into a table and told where the food was. There was plenty of food and quite a good variety but not gourmet by a long way. Could not leave hungry though so not complaining. Our time was limited... More

This was a nice scenic stop during our Sacred Valley Tour. The selection was diverse and for the most part, delicious. Drinks were "overpriced" but I reservedly say that in a relatively speaking reference. I was fine with the cost of the refreshments. The attending staff were very nice! The grounds are very beautiful and relaxing. Weird to say this,... More

It seems every bus tour to the Scared Valley has lunch here. It is a smorgasbord but you spend a good bit of your time lined up. The variety is good but it is not what I would describe as "traditional" which is the way it was described in my itinerary. That may come as a relief to many not... More

Serene, clean and relaxing stop through Sacred Valley. Tunupa Restaurant was hands down, the best buffet style restaurant on our 10 day trip through Peru. The ceviche bar was amazing, and everything was super fresh and nicely displayed. The service was fabulous. It was paradise out back on the veranda, overlooking the river and gardens. Definitely a highlight.

Stopped in as part of our Sacred Valley Tour, had great expectations since the entire trip we heard about how great this place was. The location is nice, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, and it's in a country setting, where you can rest, sit by the river, and smell the flowers and even shop. Unfortunately, the buffet and personnel... More
