Wow what a great dining experience

After a very long day at Machu Picchu we were told by some other guests at our hotel (Tambo Del Inka) that this was a great resturant and walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to try it. This might have been the best meal we had in Peru and we had some great ones. Our party of 4... read more

I didn't have very high expectations for a restaurant in a small town in rural Peru, but was blown away by Tres Keros. The food was very gourmet, and owner very worldy and friendly.

We had heard great reviews of this restaurant and were very excited to eat there. It is always difficult to predict whether a restaurant will live up to the reputation, but in this case it definitely did. The food was delicious and authentic. Great experience!

The food was delicious and the pisco sours were also very good. If you are in Urubamba and want delicious food this is a cozy and casual restaurant to try. We had the lamb shank, tenderloin medallions and asparagus salad and all thre were excellent! The chef came out and greeted us which is always a nice touch. One of... More

This is by far the best meal we've had here. The owner Ricardo is incredibly friendly and both interested in his customers and interesting to talk to about Peru. The vibe is casual and low key, with a full bar, credit cards accepted (!), and a fireplace. My husband had an absolutely amazing beef tenderloin in a coffee sauce (sweet... More

If you are in Urubamba, this is a great, non-hotel restaurant to visit. We met the owner/chef Ricardo Behar, who is a well travelled, interesting man. He cooked traditional food, which was great and we were able to purchase good wine. Although we didn't try his Pisco Sours, the large table next to us were saying how great they were.... More

Since tripadvisor and our hotel both recommended the place, we decided to try it out and it turned out well! We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food - my wife and I ordered tenderloin medallions, a trout with passion fruit sauce and stir fried mushrooms - all of which were quite yummy. It's quite a... More

Great reastaurant, followed the suggestions from the owner and had a wonderful meal at a good price. Much better quality than the buffet options that most tourists head to.

Amazing food and service! Don't miss this place! We ate here twice and the owner even opened early for us! I think the 8 of us drank his entire stash of excellent wine! We enjoyed the freshest of ingredients including duck, steak, lamb, pasta, veggies, herbs and sauces. I cant say enough great things - Ricardo (owner) takes great pride... More

This is our 8th night at Tambo del Inka, and we've tried many of the local restaurants, in addition to the restaurant in our hotel. Out of all of these restaurants, Tres Keros is our favorite, with the best service. The chef even came out several times to make sure that everything we ordered was perfect. I would highly recommend... More
