The master chef/owner Ricardo, was courteous, helpful and even custom prepared our next three dinners there. I thought he was gay. Although I was with two gorgeous... More

My boyfriend and I ate here without a reservation last Wednesday night. We had the special of the day which was duck for two. It came with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and a Peruvian/ Asian salad. It was delicious and the service was great! The owner came to our table multiple times to check up on us and chat. He... More

It had been a few years since my last visit, and it has become even better. Had the asparagus and heart if palm salad and the duck magret, both were excellent. The restaurant was absolutely full and even had people waiting for a table, so make reservations if going for lunch on a Sunday. Ricardo, the chef and owner keeps... More

This restaurant was recommended by our accommodation and we are glad we went. The menu and quality of food was great (husband had lamb shank, I had pasta), and the service efficient and very friendly. I was sick and they made me a hot pisco with honey, lemon etc which helped me a lot! If we had had more time... More

After a very long day at Machu Picchu we were told by some other guests at our hotel (Tambo Del Inka) that this was a great resturant and walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to try it. This might have been the best meal we had in Peru and we had some great ones. Our party of 4... More

I didn't have very high expectations for a restaurant in a small town in rural Peru, but was blown away by Tres Keros. The food was very gourmet, and owner very worldy and friendly.

We had heard great reviews of this restaurant and were very excited to eat there. It is always difficult to predict whether a restaurant will live up to the reputation, but in this case it definitely did. The food was delicious and authentic. Great experience!

The food was delicious and the pisco sours were also very good. If you are in Urubamba and want delicious food this is a cozy and casual restaurant to try. We had the lamb shank, tenderloin medallions and asparagus salad and all thre were excellent! The chef came out and greeted us which is always a nice touch. One of... More

This is by far the best meal we've had here. The owner Ricardo is incredibly friendly and both interested in his customers and interesting to talk to about Peru. The vibe is casual and low key, with a full bar, credit cards accepted (!), and a fireplace. My husband had an absolutely amazing beef tenderloin in a coffee sauce (sweet... More

If you are in Urubamba, this is a great, non-hotel restaurant to visit. We met the owner/chef Ricardo Behar, who is a well travelled, interesting man. He cooked traditional food, which was great and we were able to purchase good wine. Although we didn't try his Pisco Sours, the large table next to us were saying how great they were.... More
