We went to La Esquina as recommended to us by our hotel. Located right on the corner (hence its name) in the plaza, La Esquina is a great cafe to have lunch, sit outside, and people watch. The best thing about this place is the salad option… choose up to 3 mixed salads (ranging from chicken salad, rainbow salad, quinoa... More

We arrived by van early evening and wanted a light meal - the falafel listing on the menu looked appealing, but the owner advised it would be available the next day. So we selected a hummus sandwich and a fajita plate to share. So fresh and tasty! Best of all, the owner was able to spend a bit of time... More

Best place we ate in town for value, tasty and 'safe' food, variety of menu with Peruvian and other options from US and UK (including excellent brownies and Sottish Banoffee Pie!) + owner/host Reeder and family are delightful.

We came here for lunch and gad a beer and a mango juice (delicious juice and generous size). We also got the fajitas and a make your own salad bowl combo. The fajitas were definitely not the best we have ever had and lacked flavour and quantity. The salad bowl was nice, however for the price (17 Soles) we expected... More

The first time we ate here, it was just as good -if not better- than when I came by a couple of years ago. The sandwich I had on house-made bread was simply awesome, and the owner was extremely friendly and professional. The next time we came, though, he wasn't around and we wondered why the place was even open.... More

You don't feel rushed or that you should vacate the table for the next people. The owners are happy for you to take your time, catch up on emails etc. We ate here 3 or 4 times in our brief stay. Enjoyed the hot chocolate. We tried a different meal each time and were happy with everything we that we... More

This restaurant provided us with reliable and tasty meals as well as good wi-fi. And good coffee and good desserts, too.
