The first time we ate here, it was just as good -if not better- than when I came by a couple of years ago. The sandwich I had on house-made bread was simply awesome, and the owner was extremely friendly and professional. The next time we came, though, he wasn't around and we wondered why the place was even open.... More

You don't feel rushed or that you should vacate the table for the next people. The owners are happy for you to take your time, catch up on emails etc. We ate here 3 or 4 times in our brief stay. Enjoyed the hot chocolate. We tried a different meal each time and were happy with everything we that we... More

This restaurant provided us with reliable and tasty meals as well as good wi-fi. And good coffee and good desserts, too.

While recently traveling the Sacred Valley in Peru, we came across La Esquina restaurant in Ollantaytambo. The owner Rigert, made us feel like we were old friends immediately. The soup is fantastic and the sandwiches are fresh and generous. The BLT has a copious amount of guacamole. Order the brownie! My sister became ill at this point in our trip... More

Very cosy bar with terrace on the plaza de armas. Very cold cervezas and tasty food. The owner is a nice guy and speaks good English. Must visit. Best bar/restaurant on the main square.

Excellent coffee and baked goods, right on the main plaza. Good choice after climbing the ruins or exploring the village.

I nearly gave up drinking coffee in Peru. There is no doubt that Peru knows how to grow great coffee but roasting and brewing it seems to be one this countries greatest weak spots (in my opinion), until you come to this place. In La Esquina, you do not just receive a great coffee for Peruvian standards but this place... More

Great food. I especially like that they serve breakfast all day. Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. A must place if you're in Ollantaytambo.

Nice place to sit outside in the main square and have a cup of coca tea. Seemed to be busy all the time. Good baked goods.
