Go across the street to Hearts Cafe for a good breakfast or other meal. The coffee there is also very good.

I couldn't find a place to write a review for KB Tambo Tours, so I write it here instead. We took the half day paso horse ride in the Yuanahara valley near Urubamba. We had initially booked the Pumamarca ruins ride but those horses were detained in Moray, so we did the other valley instead. It was a lovely ride... More

This is the best accommodation with the best location in Ollantaytambo, it has cozy clean rooms with powerful hot showers, friendly staff that make you feel like you are home. Actually it is a home away from home. Breakfast is included in the price. Highly recommend a visit to KB Tambo Hostal.

I ate at KB Tambo for three nights whilst staying there. I found the grilled alpaca and sautéed vegetables to be excellent. My wife and daughter each had excellent pasta dishes. The service was friendly and quick and the ambience was homey. While it is not the largest eatery in town and may not have a lot of flash when... More

Well prepared and tasty food. Fresh and high quality. Our waiter seemed a bit new to fine dining but was attentive and courteous.

This small restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. The food was delicious ( I loved the trout), service was great and we had a lovely conversation with the owner, originally from Spain. As it turned out, he was also the owner of the hotel we were staying at, Hotel Iskay. For us as a couple, it was a... More

The restaurant was recommended by a local and the Chef's Special was a great dish, containing alpaca sausage. The portions are large and provided 2 meals for me. Recommend.

The waiter we had acted like a 4 year old every time we made a request. He huffed and puffed and looked like we were severely interrupting him. Plus the food was boring and we waited around an HOUR for NOODLES. Many places here in Peru use MSG (known here as Aji-no-moto). I asked our waiter about the ingredients of... More

I traveled with my family nearly 2 years ago. We had breakfast here twice after a recommendation in the internet cafe. The egg omelets were fantastic, and the fresh fruit juice was great! But, the waffles were out of this world. They had some apple/fruit waffles which will rock your socks.
