Excellent atmosphere watching the trains come back from Machu Picchu. Got to watch the 4 types of trains -- local, Explorer, Vistadome, and Highram Bingham. Great meal -- good service. Loved the red quinoa salad and especially the alpaca steak.

Stayed in the area for two months and ate here often. The frozen lemonade and the cheesecake were the two things I purchased the most often and they were absolutely delicious. Anybody coming through must stop here for a meal!

We stayed at teh hotel for one night so decided to eat in as reviews said it was good. The bar area is quaint and on teh platform of the station so good for people watching. The restaurant was well dercorated and had a lovely ambience. The food again was really good quality, the wines were also good and the... More

Must be the best restaurant in town! The food is very good; all made with fresh ingredients. Veggies are from their own garden. The atmosphere is very very cosy in the old house on the railwaystation. Has a colonial feel to it. Great professional and kind staff.

We really enjoyed our experience here. We tried 3 "fancy" restaurants in Peru - here, Chi Cha in Cusco and Tree House in Aguas calientes - and this was by far the best. Very nice service ; tasty food ; and according to my very picky 11 year old son , the best steak he'd ever had.

We had a great dinner in this open kitchen restaurant, after arriving back from a long day at Machu Picchu. Really good for both meat lovers and vegetarians.

Excellent food and staff. A very enjoyable evening! There was entertainment and great atmosphere! Even if you are not staying at the hotel it is worth eating here.

We tried a few other restaurants in Ollantaytambo before heading to El Albergue and once we did visit the place, we couldnt go anywhere else for dinner or lunch. Its located right at the station (which is great if you're arriving from machu picchu) and the place is rather small, so I would suggest making reservations. Food and service were... More

This place has the best WiFi in town, for one. It's pricey because of it's convenient location next to the train station and because it's a little fancier in atmosphere. Their happy hour is a popular time to go here as well, and my non-vegetarian friends love their Alpaca burger. I am a personal fan of their brownies here and... More

I adored this restaurant and I think the prices are quite reasonable in relation to the quality. We arrived for happy hour, sat on the back patio and sipped truly excellent pisco sours while nibbling on the vegetarian antipasto, prepared with vegetables grown in their own garden. I had the zucchini lasagne for main course, which included a creative quinoa-tomato... More
