Very good restaurant!!

Delicious!!! A simple and delicous menu, very good artisanal beers, very good to drink after a walking day through Macchu Picchu.

Got the Alpaca burger and the missus got the Zucchini Chicken. The presentation was good however the carrots for both meals were too hard and the fries were not fries but deep fried potatoes which were again too hard. For some strange reason all the other customers received a free taster and we didn't which I found odd. Our desert... More

El Albergue Restaurant was one of the best restaurants I visited in Peru. The food was authentic, fresh, and flavorful! The ambiance was wonderful too! I enjoyed a delicious dinner and an amazing breakfast.

As an example of price (we had dinner here on 4 occasions) - half bottle of wine between us + 1 beer & 2 courses each came to $A75-$85...so probably at the top end in this town. We got the impression that restaurants in the village were a lot more informal - lots of pizza places etc. We were staying... More

The service is uncommonly friendly, the atmosphere warm, and (most importantly) the food delicious. We had dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both immensely. The meals are made with the freshest of ingredients, all grown or raised in their own gardens and/or the community, and the portions are decent, even for a guy with an appetite like mine. The wine... We stayed in the hotel and loved the rooms, the extensive grounds and organic farm which produces food for the resistant. Service and food in the restaurant was lovely, one of our best meals in Peru

Wonderful atmosphere with local music. Grilled trout was fantastic, and you must try their Pisco Sour!

I had made reservations for the restaurant about a month/month and a half in advance. So, when got to the restaurant and still had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated (even though many of the tables were empty), I started to feel really disappointed. However, once we were seated, the evening improved dramatically. The service was on point (our... More

Great food, clean and safe enviroment and great service. Make sure to confirm your restaurant reservations as staff often gets confused using two separate books to track them.

What a nice restaurant for a coffee, lunch, dinner. You could just sit all day mesmerized by the trains coming and going to Machu Picchu while having fantastic food. Garden fresh veggies and salads, lovely coffee. Friendly service. The Hotel looks very nice as well. Would have liked to stay in the Hotel.
