All-organic, great location

Don't be put off by the fact that the hotel is accessed from the railway platform. The sound of trains is not intrusive and they stop at night if you are sleeping at the hotel. The hotel has its own organic gardens (which you can visit) so the quality of restaurant ingredients is fantastic. The food is A1. The ambience... More

B/f and evening meal on the 3rd March v good. B/f on the 4th was cold. Waitress on first morning was excellent in ensuring we got a 'hot' cooked b/f before going to Machu Pichu. Service in restaurant that night also good and reasonable priced

Roughly 30% of the food here comes from their organic farm and it did not disappoint. Delicious sandwiches, great juices, and absolutely outstanding salads. Wonderful atmosphere with trains coming and leaving. Only improvement is to get the one server some help so that service could be a bit faster. Doesn't need to be super fast, but we felt like our... We stopped in for dinner after getting off our train from Machu Picchu because of the great reviews. The restaurant is lovely but none of the vegetarian dishes we tried were spectacular. Red quinoa salad with blue cheese and apples was overly sweet and stuffed peppers fairly bland. The veggie chupe was by far the best dish we tried and... More

This was a marvellous find; we were absolutely surprised by the quality of food delivered in this quaint restaurant! It s situated within the train station so we needed to go through the gate. Service was prompt and we were happy not to have to wait and starve. I ordered the alpaca steak which was the most lovely I have... More

The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent but the breakfast was on the cold side. The waitress was helpful but I didn't like to see the manager criticising her in view of the guests - bad management here.

My girlfriend and I ate dinner here and were blown away. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was outstanding. We loved the chocolate stout and the lamb chimichuri, medium rare, was the best we've ever had. The ambiance was charming with trains going by and live harp music. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

I enjoyed my lamb medallions but it was way over priced. The service is excellent with a good atmosphere. But the plate was small and over priced. I paid about 80 soles for 1 person with no alcoholic beverages. I still was hungry after dinner. first time that has happened at a restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel here and ate at this restaurant for both lunch and evening meals. The beauty being you step off the train from Machu Piccu into this delightful quaint piece of history. The food is cooked in an open kitchen so nothing hidden and the waiters are warm and friendly. Food typically Peruvien producing wonderful flavours that... More
