My boyfriend and I had our Christmas Eve dinner at El Albergue. I found the restaurant on TripAdvisor (it is a bit out of the town's center and would not have stumbled upon it unless we were taking the train) and made a reservation based on the glowing reviews. The food and service were both superb. The waiters were attentive... More

Literally at the train station, through the entrance gate. Wandered there early afternoon and made a reservation for the evening. Good mix of choices. High marks from our 20-year old twins and from me.

The Albergue is a welcome change of pace from other restaurants in Peru. The food is high quality, and while a bit more expensive than other places that cater to tourists, it is well worth it and still very comparable to prices in the US. The alpaca burger is amazing… as well as the alpaca steak and lamb. They have... More

Superb tasty foods, inspiring drinks, elegant and tasteful decor, very friendly professional service... A lovely evening to the volunteers and staff of our Casa Hogar Ninos del Sol in Urubamba. The owners gave us a very generous discount, as a gift for our hard working staff. This is the best in Ollantaytambo, and one of the best restaurants in the... More

This hotel that has a working farm and restaurant, had the most wonderful food. The hotel and restaurant were worth the splurge. We ate every meal here.

I made a reservation for our party of nine several weeks in advance for dinner at the El Albergue. This was one of our best dinners during the week we were in Peru. The service, atmosphere, and food were all outstanding. Several in our party started with Pisco sours, cerveza, or fresh fruit juice. For appetizers, we started with fresh... More

Cute hotel and restaurant next to the train station. They have their own garden where the produce they use in their meals come from. Amazing maracuya sour, tasty beet salad and alpaca burger.
