Good Choice when in Ollantaytambo

Restaurant is very nice inside. The grilled trout was very good as well as the wine. I had the alpaca/beef burger and was kind of disappointed. The flavor was good but it looked like it was processed in a plant instead of house made. Shape was too perfect to be made in house. The fruit salad for... read more

If you are staying at the El Albergue, then dining here is most convenient. The food is fresh and the service is courteous. After a long day, and if you are proceeding to Machu Picchu the next day, dining here is recommended.

Very romantic environment. We were very happy with all our choices : salads, meats, desserts, wine. Quite expensive but delicious.

This restaurant is on the train station platform to the right when you enter the station. We arrived early (5:15 or so) and they let us know that they don't seat until 6 but we could sit in the waiting area and order drinks. I had told the hostess the drinks I wanted which she forgot to bring and then... More

I had read about the inn and the restaurant, and the owner is running an ambitious restaurant. She has a farm where the vegetables and lettuce are being grown organically for the restaurant, so you are guaranteed the freshest ingredients possible. The local staff have been really well trained, so the service is attentive. We started with a delicious beet... More

Most of the great food comes from the garden next to the hotel/restaurant on a 500 Inca terrace that you can visit. Fresh, delightful, interesting food. Try the alpaca burger or steak. Also a lovely setting. Definitely need a reservation.

Absolutely wonderful. This restaurant is passionate about local food, grows most of it on site and makes almost everything from scratch. We ate here after our four day hike on the Inca Trail and I must say it was one of the best meals we had on this trip. The service was very professional and the food was so healthy... More

Best food in Ollantaytambo as well as gorgeous garden, cozy bedrooms and one of a kind must see ORGANIC farm. Have their alpaca steak or a pasta. For lunch have their steak sandwich!!! You wont be disappointed with their side salads either (purple carrots!)

this is not your fancy steak and lobster restaurant AND that's why it's so good. it's quaint, clean and very traditional which is WHY you go here. great food, great service friendly staff.

Ate the alpaca tenderloin steak - the very best I've had in Peru. over many years of travel there. Great place to eat and watch the trains come and go.
