Have the burrito!

I couldn't give this place more than three stars due to the incredibly slow service on the night we visited. There was only one woman working, both cooking and serving - later on someone else joined her and things sped up a bit. Anyway, I would give the burrito five stars! ABsolutely elicious, and... read more

We stayed at Ollantaytambo for 2 nights and decided to take a chance at this upstairs restaurant for our second night. Service was a bit slow despite there being no more than 3 tables. The chef had to come out to serve us as our food was getting cold on the counter. I had aji de gallina. While the sauce... More

This restaurant didn't look like much from outside. But the food was very professionally prepared and presented and was very good.

We both had the burritos based on Trip Advisor reviews and they were fantastic (and huge so make sure you are hungry!). The service was extremely slow even though for the first half of the meal we were the only customers, but the food made up for it. The pisco sours were great as well.

Delicious and substantial salads. Great vantage point to watch the town pass by. Simple and healthy. Kids appreciated sandwiches.

We ate here twice, the first time had the chicken which was very good so we came back. the pasta dish was not up to the same level as the chicken. In comparing to the other restaurant we ate at the servers were very friendly and seamed to want your business

The standout dish at Puka Rumi would have to be their burritos which are highly praised in many guide books but are better described as fajitas. A giant sectioned plate is served with meat, guacamole, tomatoes, beans, cheese etc alongside homemade crepe-like tortillas. Service can be a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. Hint: ask for your... More

We came here after seeing the recommendations on Tripadvisor and in the Lonely Planet. It's not a very cosy place and the service wasn't great. However the burritos and soup were really good and filling! Wouldn't recommend the pesto pasta... All in all a nice place for food if you order the right thing :)

We liked this place so much we ate here twice. Not expensive. Really delicious burrito-like dish. Everything we ordered was good. Service was on the slow side but the food more than made up for it. It's a little hard to find ... located on the 2nd floor of a bldg. near the bridge to the ruins. Not classy or... More
