Great Place to eat!

As another review mentioned, there was only one woman working as hostess, waitress, and chef. (Super impressive) This wasn't a problem for us, because we were the only people in the restaurant. we went during the off season, so we assume that there is more staff when the restaurant is busier. the... read more

This was very close to our hostel (Ollantaytampu Hostel) and was recommended to us so why not? We tried the alpaca steak which was a little overdone but I suppose that's how it's supposed to be prepared. The sauce that came with the mashed yuca/potatoes was quite good. The margherita pizza had the right amount of fragrant basil but lacked... More

I couldn't give this place more than three stars due to the incredibly slow service on the night we visited. There was only one woman working, both cooking and serving - later on someone else joined her and things sped up a bit. Anyway, I would give the burrito five stars! ABsolutely elicious, and so much fun to assemble your... More

We stayed at Ollantaytambo for 2 nights and decided to take a chance at this upstairs restaurant for our second night. Service was a bit slow despite there being no more than 3 tables. The chef had to come out to serve us as our food was getting cold on the counter. I had aji de gallina. While the sauce... More

This restaurant didn't look like much from outside. But the food was very professionally prepared and presented and was very good.

We both had the burritos based on Trip Advisor reviews and they were fantastic (and huge so make sure you are hungry!). The service was extremely slow even though for the first half of the meal we were the only customers, but the food made up for it. The pisco sours were great as well.

Delicious and substantial salads. Great vantage point to watch the town pass by. Simple and healthy. Kids appreciated sandwiches.

We ate here twice, the first time had the chicken which was very good so we came back. the pasta dish was not up to the same level as the chicken. In comparing to the other restaurant we ate at the servers were very friendly and seamed to want your business

The standout dish at Puka Rumi would have to be their burritos which are highly praised in many guide books but are better described as fajitas. A giant sectioned plate is served with meat, guacamole, tomatoes, beans, cheese etc alongside homemade crepe-like tortillas. Service can be a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. Hint: ask for your... More
