Ask for the set menu and you get three courses of delicious food - genuinely some of the best I've had across Peru - for S/25, which is good value for a touristy, nice restaurant in Ollantaytambo (although you can get a menu for S/7 if you head off the main streets). The seco de cordero was amazingly tender and... More

Even tho there was a large group the night we were there, the service was good and the food excellent. The waitress was very efficient and pleasant. We never felt rushed or neglected

Great place for a big snack or local lunch/dinner. We actually ate there during a blackout! Friendly staff and tasty food.

This was the first restaurant we went to when we arrived in Ollantaytambo, and we found it so pleasant that it became the only restaurant in Ollantaytambo where we dined. We had dinner, brunch, and take-out food all from Puka Rumi. It wasn't typical of us to keep going back to the same restaurant multiple times as we are pretty... More

My title says it all. Husband's alpacca steak was excellent also. We were in Ollanta for 7 nights and went back here twice. We were the last customers after having spent the day in Machu Picchu and though they were obviously working to close up and go home they never made us feel rushed and service was friendly right up... This is a clean place right at the centre of town near the Hostal Sauce Hotel. The decor is modern and not atmospheric particularly, but the food is delicious and the cleanliness is a plus.

The waiters make you feel very welcome and make good recommendations, the "Lomo saltado" looked great, however we just had that in the meal before, and we got a pizza, which was very good as they make it in a firewood oven. The word in Peru for "crusty" is "crocante". The ají sauce was good as well. The pizza for... More

Great place to eat in Ollanta with lots of very tasty dishes to choose from. Burritos made like nowhere else and pizzas, salads, soups and main courses that were all very good and very filling.

My husband and I ate lunch here during our stay in Ollantaytambo. We walked in and we the only people there, we had to yell upstairs to let the host know we were there. She was very friendly and service was quick once she realized we were there. We had hot sandwiches and french fries which were both delicious! We... More
