Tried this place after seeing postive reviews on Tripadvisor (listed under Aqua Calientes). The rest of our group wanted a big meal but we didn't - so glad we found this place above the bus station (double back on yourself up the path towards the market). The owner and his hard working team member were very friendly and welcoming. The... More

We loved running across this delightful taste of French bakery goodies in Machu Picchu -- just near the train station. And delicious coffee as well! We especially liked the chocolate croissants! We got up early to fill a bag with goodies before we got on the early train out.

What a great surprise this was. After a long day we stopped for a hot chocolate and something sweet. We had a great pastry and hot chocolate.

Well, I almost said it all in the title, just amazing to find a french bakery in Machu Picchu, you get yourself a coffee and a croissant, close your eyes 2 seconds as you bite in it and you feel like in Paris already. This place is simply amazing. The pastries and sandwiches are made by a 5 star chef from France who has been in Peru for a number of years. The pastries are not expensive, and have to be some of the best I have ever tried. The restaurant is a little bit hard to find, but it is definitely worth it!

It was by lucky chance that we came across this French bakery. We spent a very enjoyable twenty minutes chatting with the French manager / baker. The chocolate au pains with a pastry cream were to die for! They were absolutely delicious and the bakers own special recipe. It was such a surprise to find an authentic French bakey in... More

Excellent croissants and pains au chocolat, great prices... Ask for the "French bakery" (panaderia francesa), well worth looking for!
