Great meat, great restaurant!

I loved this restaurant. It's such a great find near the coast in Chorrillos. It's best at doing meat... we had a table of 4 people, and we ordered the shared meat plate (I can't remember the name, but it has a combination of steaks, sausages, chops, and more - suitable for at least 4 people... read more

Group of 11 people with a mix of seniors, adults, teens and kids. 9 nights in Peru and this was the ONLY meal that everyone was pleased with. El Hornero did it again. We visited this location last year and we were so pleased that we had to bring the entire family this time. Make reservations early for a second-floor... More

This is a party place, quit e big I like the fact they have private room, if you are in a big group. I went there with some clientes, we were 16 people and we enjoyed. Food is good, service is better than the average in Lima. Place to reccomend.

I had the most expensive ribeye. It was an inch thick, must have been around 800 grams at least. Big portions so you can box up the leftovers for the next day. Above average steakhouse!

I visited this restaurant during a business trip to Lima. I decided to partake in authentic Lima barbecue. This place is a delight! Their portions are very generous, the service is superb and the food is delicious.

This place still has one of the best steaks in Lima. It has several restaurants in differnt districts but the original one is this one in Chorrillos. Great service and a fantastic salad. Warm bread and aji and chimichurri sauces are fantastic. Prices are average for the type of food.

The food is good, a little over acceptable, like 6.5/10, but it is highly overpriced. Too expensive for what they offer.

I went along on one of my husbands many business trips to Lima for a week. He is lucky enough to eat here often, it is a place he likes to take clients but I also thought it was a great date night. We ate here twice, once pleasure once work. Great steaks cooked perfectly. Be sure to try the... More

This is a "5 fork" restaurant, as they call a 5 star restaurant, here in Lima-Peru. Meat is excellent. The "chimichurri" sauce is incredible as are the salads and side dishes. They serve you the "parrillada" which is meats you can customize at your taste, in a hot sizzling hibachi type style. They have their own wine cellar with fine... More

Why could we not learn about El Hornero earlier? We were turned on to this lovely, old-school designed steakhouse overlooking the water at Chorrillos. We were seated on the second floor which provided a lovely nighttime view of the city lights. As a NY raised carnivore (both traditional and Argentinian steakhouses), the smell of parrillada (mixed grill) hits your nose... More
