The best

My favourite! Good view of the sea (better in summer, if you dont want to see the Winter fog!), the best of food, the best of service (Orestes is the chief, like no other), the best desserts. Very good drinks also!

Cala is one of the few restaurants in Lima on the ocean. Ask for a table on the outdoor terrace on the second floor--you look down on the surfers! We had a long (and late) lunch here our last day in Lima. We were first given a prix fixe tasting menu that was pretty ordinary. We finally got the regular... More

The food is really good, true to Lima's high benchmark. Romantic dining room upstairs and great views from the outdoor tables; but the actions is downstairs. .. a big bar with a happening deck with DJ and ocean breeze. From the deck you can see/hear the waves. Good option.

On Lima's Costa Verde, Cala is a great place to go to just sit and enjoy the ocean views while sipping an excellent and powerful pisco sour. It is both a bar and a restaurant and the food is also quite good. Try any of the seafood dishes including the ceviche. All are good. Relax and enjoy; no one will... More

amazing view and food, great service, fun ambiance. one of the few places to find seafood after 5pm in Lima. they have a lounge that opens until 3 am. not so cheap for peruvian standards but comparing to the prices in the US is just regular price menu BUT you are eating and drinking in one of the best upscale... Nice ocean view! I just ordered an appetizer that had some samples of Peruvian cuisine! piqueo Criollo. Presentation was simple and elegant; taste was very good; i could get a little bit of each flavor! Causa, ceviche, all was perfectly well done! I will come back for sure! Recommended 100%

We got a last-minute reservation for 6 on the second floor balcony (it's open to the waves below, an amazing sight!). The food was great (try the spicy ceviche). Come early to watch the sun set on the balcony below or stay late to watch the waves after dinner. They are breathtaking. We heard this restaurant is the "place to... More

Ate a late lunch upstairs, outside, late afternoon on a Monday in late June with no reservations (rez recommended). A little noisy, from the breaking waves, but far from unpleasant. Superb service. Best pisco sours that I've ever had. Ultra clean, incredibly delicious seviche. Superb off-the-menu vegan veggie plate. Excellent compound butters with the bread service. Great ambiance. Sick to... As other reviewers mention, the service here is incredibly slow, and not even apologetic. They took 20min to come and offer us something to drink, another 10 minutes to come back with an explanation for something on the menu we asked about. When the food finally came, it took yet another 20min to get our second courses. By that time... More

Nice location with ocean view. I went at lunch time, the ambiance was ok but not great. I've heard that it turns great at night specially on Fridays. The food was very good but they don't have a good espresso.
