Cala is also referred to as "mar de amor". With the waves crashing against this casual sophisticated restaurant we asked for a table on the terrace. The terrace is protected from the spray of water and makes a beautiful addition to a delicious and perfectly served meal. Try the "lenguado" and "corvina", two very good local fish.

I just returned from a business trip in Lima and had the good fortune to have lunch here. There were 5 of us in our group. Everyone of us truly enjoyed their meals. The service is excellent, the views of the pacific are enchanting, and the food is about as good as it gets. I would not hesitate to recommend... More

A work colleague recommended this restaurant to us. We made a reservation for just before sunset and we were note disappointed by the view. The foo was also not disappointing. We had a great ceviche to start and enjoyed a bottle of wine. The prices were quite reasonable.

My husband and I were referred to this restaurant by an expat Lima resident. We elected to sit outdoors in the open air sofa seating. What a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the Pisco sours- classic and maracuya. We were very impressed by the interesting flavor profiles and combinations of ingredients in the appetizers and entrees we ordered. We... More

This is a top-shelf restaurant and you'll feel the full effect as soon as you're greeted. We had made reservations but the restaurant didn't have them on hand nevertheless we were seated right away (for lunch). The menus (they have Spanish and English available) had some really cool items and it was tough not going overboard and let our eyes... More

The location is all about it as it makes you feel this is the right atmosphere to hang out with friends by the sea or sip some good rum at the bar when it's getting dark. The place is quite popular and the service may slow as more people come in. I had my camera on me and this made... More

Fabulous food and an amazing view, literally right on the beach. Our favorite place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon -- or just about any sunset of the week. The service can be a bit spotty, but on the whole -- the quality of food, presentation, atmosphere and price makes Cala a MUST if you're looking for a sumptuous, Peruvian... More

Someone told me not to miss Cala and I was wrong to listen to him. I cancelled a reservation at a place I think would have been much much better and had a terrible time at Cala. I absolutely can't eat cilantro and I told the waiter so, I ordered about ten things that sounded good to me, and with... More

I loved the aguaymanto chilcano!! Strong pisco, but effective :) The sunsets there are the highlights. It's a must if you are in Lima.
