The atmosphere and view alone made for a good experience. With its location directly over the ocean, it is beautiful and unique. We did have some issues with the service and food, however. It took 20 minutes from the time we were seated until the first server greeted us. As a party of 3 English speakers and 1 Spanish speaker,... More

My wife has a broken leg and is in a wheelchair(whole story in itself) The staff were excellent at manoeuvring her around to get us on a table on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommended

On a recent trip to Peru with two other couples we dined at Cala one evening. The setting is beautiful and you can hear the waves crashing, but the food and the service are average at best. Of the 6 different dishes that were ordered from the group, only one was said to be excellent. The rest of us simply... More

Great food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and prices considering all the above. Had a great experience both times I've went and I will recommend to anyone.

Cala is an excellent option for lunch. On the second floor looking out to sea, the setting is memorable, and the food is quite good. The secret to good Peruvian food is the freshness of the fish and shellfish, and we found Cala well above the norm in this regard. One of our party asked for a particular fish and... More

I enjoyed a table overlooking a pounding ocean. The flounder ceviche was very fresh and very delicious as an appetizer and a very generous serving. Next a main course of perfectly grilled tuna (with roasted vegetables). Too full for desert but the offerings looked very interesting. Service pleasant and very helpful

Cala is located by the sea and offers good peruvian cuisine. On the 2nd floor you will find the restaurant and on the 1st floor you have the lounge/bar which later at night has a dj playing electronic music. Well recommended

The location of the restaurant is amazing, good views and great environment. However, our experience was not that good based on the following situations: 1) It took more than 20 mins for somebody to take our drinks orders 2) The food was average. Not what you would have expected from one of the top 10 restaurants in Lima. My girlfriend... More

One of our tour guides recommended this restaurant while we were exploring Peru. We didn't have reservations but I would suggest that you make them if you go. We were lucky in that we arrived for an early lunch so there were some available seats but it filled up very quickly. We were sat on the second floor overlooking the... More
