Incredible seafood, huge portions. This place is only open until 5pm as they use fresh caught seafood only and consider it "less fresh" as the day goes on. You can absolutely tell this is the freshest catch. I enjoyed a plate of cebiche as well as a grilled mix and both were spectacular. Also... read more

A very good value for money Cebicheria in the heart of Lima's seafood area. Their Chupe de Camarones was excellent.

Peruvian food has always been tasty, but usually it was also really cheap. The late trend of peruvian gourmandise has raisen the prices and diminished the portions. This is a nice place, though prices are getting a bit high. For example, a not so big plate of ceviche made with the 'catch of the day' (which means not really fine... More

Some Lima Rotarian buddies took us there for lunch around 1.30 pm. We had to wait to get a table for 5. It was well worth it ! We all had different choices and we were surprised about quality and plate presentation. Especially for lunch! Almost too reasonable for what they served us. Restaurant was located close to a huge... I had a dish that has both ceviche de pescado and cicharron de mariscos and it was super tasty. The nice lime juice of the ceviche mixes perfectly with the rest of the dish. I like that the fish was cut in nice chunky pieces that allow you to appreciate its freshness. Service spotless too. And the atmosphere is very... More

A place that started many years ago as a "cebiche" place has become one of the best traditional seafood places in Lima, and widened its menu to include almost a full range of Peruvian cuisine offerings (criolla cuisine). Not pretentious but clean, well organized and consistently offering good food. This is one place to visit to sample some of the... More

externally la red looks posh but once inside all of that pretentious crap is left at the door, thankfully!this place is a tad canteeny, service is very keen. The whole reason for going to such a magic place is to be fed with gastronomic excellence, and by gum (no chewing needed) it's fantastic just visually I thought I'd died n gone... More

We tried this out after a recommendation from our Hostel and for our first taste of Peruvian food we were impressed. Between two of us we split a ceviche and a meal of steak strips fried up with onions. Both were fantastic, especially the ceviche. Service was also fantastic.

The staff are great, friendly and helpful, the food delicious. The portion size are very good to match the price, would return tomorrow! And the Pisco Sour was the best I have had!

We eat here at least 3/5 times per month over the weekends mainly. Great family restaurant and good selection of dishes and drinks. Plates are reasonably priced and good portions. We usually share with 2/3 dishes. Nice friendly service, if you are there during the weekends (lunch hours) please book in advance otherwise waiting will be required.
