Pleasant surprise and nice experience

Visited this restaurant after visiting the Museo Amano in the area with friends. We sat on the lower patio and enjoyed good food, excellent service and a nice setting. The pasta was very good and the sauces nicely done. Paired with good wine it made for a very good lunch. Our party of 6 enjoyed the... read more

Mambrino (the owner) knows very well what us Italian food lovers like and how we like it, this is why and the reason how he comes with exquisite flavors on each plate. The secret is in our Nonnas old recipes, they cooked for ours until "La Salsa Sacra" was ready; not before not after just as many hours of concoction... More

We came upon La Bodega by accident. We had intended to go the Restaurant Huaca Pucllana, but despite its website, it was shut! This served us well, because La Bodega is about as good as it gets. Our meals (lomo a las pimientas = steak au poivre, and malfatti = spinach & ricotta gnocchi in a parmesan cream sauce) were... More

We went for lunch with some friends and the food was OK but what surprised me was how slow the service was. On top of that they were out of ¨campesino bread...how can that be ? we couldn't order bruschettas because of that and my Salmon Tartare came with some very thin bread. Always a nice place to go but... More

I read an article from the NY Times to come here, eat a chocolate, fudge-filled fondant and enjoy the views of ruins and I was not disappointed! The fondant was absolutely amazing!!!! The other food that came out looked phenomenal too, if we had time I would go back for their pizza!! Great coffee too. Thank you!

Had lunch at this restaurant and was sorry afterwards. Location is a nice one opposite a major Mia Flores tourist attraction. However from the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely unwelcome. The waiter refused to even try to communicate in English which made things very difficult and uncomfortable for us. As a result when our food and... More

Went for a tea time with a group of girl friends What we had was normal. A couple of sandwiches a a cake. Nothing special. What was really bad was the service. The waiter did not even bother to come to the table to attend us. We had to stand up and look for him at least three times. Not... More
