Pescados Capitales has its ups and downs - it is up again! Food extraordinary, service excellent. Don't forget to ask for linen napkins, they have them but do not provide them unless you ask. Enjoy seafood as good as it gets!

I had the great fortune to work with a group of Peruvians who know their way around Lima's best eateries. This was a great discovery for me. The menu is a hoot. Dishes are creative without being over the top. Everything was exquisite. Save room for dessert! Atmosphere is rustic and informal—definitely a cool place to go.

This is a restaurant I had heard alot for years and finally decided to go on a business dinner. The first impression is poor. A mix between the looks of a Camp dinner hall and a garage full of tables. Very cold inside too. Not a fancy industrial garage in case you are wondering. Quite dissapointed on that side. On... More

A soggy pasta dish with a bland sauce. The ceviche was good for a medium serving, but pricey. You could get a lot more for cheaper elsewhere. Beware the awkward cover charge for setting the plates on the table? I could understand if there was a band playing but that was ridiculous. Plus it was cold in Pescados Capitales. Everyone... More

We went for lunch and the airy, open restaurant was packed with some tourists but mainly Peruvians on business lunches. I think this place had the best Pisco Sour I tasted, it did cost about $6.00 which I think was the most we paid for a pisco sour. Service and food excellent, if you are in Miraflores head here for... Apart from the good fish dishes. Prices quite high. I would recommend mango Cheviche and had 2 chocolate soufflés which taken time to prepare so order ahead. Nice please but again other restaurants in Lima much better for the price and service.

I went there because my travel book said it was the best fish in Lima. It was indeed very good, I had a ceviche, and my friends other type of fish, and we all enjoyed it. The chocolate soufflé was really good, one of the best I had actually. The only bad thing is that they are really slow for... More

We went after recomended by a peruvian friend. Food was very good . Octopus appetizer was excellent, tiraditos too. Chita fish and tacu tacu were very good. However chocolate suffle was one of the best I ever had. A little bit expensive but worth the experience.

This place was unanimously ranked the highest by my Peruvian friends, so we arrived with great expectations. It is located in the Miraflores neighborhood, but not the nice part. Don’t be scared away by the apparently simple entryway and surroundings. The dining area was very pleasant. High ceilings with bright natural lighting. The butcher block tables gave it a modern... Mainly seafood is served. The menu is built around the 7 capital sin theme. The service is good and the food, although not the best in Lime, of very good quality. Service id friendly as almost everywhere in Lima. Very reasonably priced.
