I am adventurous and when I was told that Cuy or guinea pig is a staple of Peruvian cuisine I was determined to have some! Had it here and it was amazing! The skin was crispy while the rest of the meat was just delicious! In addition to the Cuy, we had conchitas a la parmesana which were fabulous! Fish...

We went to this restaurant at 4:30 and got right in. The drinks were quite good. Service was very good. The ceviche was very fresh but the fish was large enough pieces that it was not quite ready when served. I cut it up and left it in the lime juice a bit longer and it was just right! Watch...

US$100 for a meal for two? What did you eat? asked my daughter. Well, Conchitas a la parmesana, sword fish on a chapignon risotto, cebiche, one small pisco sour and two glasses of sauvignon blanc. Sounds expensive, she said.

The decor of the restaurant is cool. We went in the fall and it was a little chilly to be sitting outside but it would great if it was warmer - there is almost as much room outside as inside. The presentation and service was very good and the pisco sours were awesome.
There are lots of seafood options to...

We went here after a harrowing tax ride through many intersections to a relaxing semi-outdoor seafood adventure. The restaurant is casual, but nice. The grilled squid appetizer was fabulous, as the cebiche and other fish entrees we had.Excellent desserts, good service.
While the fish was fresh and tasty, prices were a bit high and service was inconsistent and mediocre at best. Too bad, the ambience and food have the potential to make this a great restaurant !
Always that I eat octopus, I remember Pescados capitales. It's a huge problem, because It's the best octopus that I ever ate in my life and anyother octopus it's crap for me. Also, the leche tigre it's perfect. Don't forget to ask if they have concha negra. You lose your trip to Lima if you don't go to this restaurant.
My husband and I will never forget our lunch at Pescado Capitales. It was delicious and the service was great. Some waiters spoke better English than others and were helpful when it came to reading the menu. We got there about 15 minutes before it opened but they let us come in and sit down. They even brought us the...
