We lunched on recommendation of a frequent business traveler to Lima. Great atmosphere outdoor eating and terrific hilarious menu (at least in English). Mussel ceviche to amuse bouche was very good. Main course of Arroz Mariscos was delicious with the tenderest octopus, lovely shrimp and sweet scallops. Wanted to try more dishes. Great crowd fun people watching too and great... More

Yesterday we ate a few really nice fish dishes in this restaurant, I was surprised by the quality of the grilled octopus and the ceviche we enjoyed as an appetiser. The whole menu revolves around the 7 sins or anagrams of various political figures in Peru. A very good experience with ok service. The negative was the fact that after... More

The food and service are both excellent but to really enjoy you should become knowledgeable of Peruvian politics. The dishes have names that are double entendres spreading mirth at the expense of local politicians

We've been going to Peru for a few years to see family and cannot get over the food. This restaurant,Pescado Capitales, is one of if not the best for ceviche. We had the traditional with fish and the pulpo (octopus) and we can't wait to go back! Absolutely amazing food and the ambiance was great! The service was slow but... More

The orice is slightly (10%) higher but the food is good and the atmosphere enthusing. We do not like noisy places and this is a quiet one with a very good type of music.

This is probably one of the best restaurants I have been to in Lima. The pisco sour is a must. We were 12 people and all had fantastic meals. The atmosphere is also great as it has outside seating. Service was also outstanding.

Visited this place as referred by some locals while I was on biz travel. I was with an Argentinian colleague, and Spanish Colleague and we all enjoyed the food (ceviche, seafood, etc..), service and divine pisco sours! I highly recommend you go!

WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The issue that I had with this restaurant is that i ordered a Rutini wine for 80soles (26usd) and the waiter brought be a wine of 150 soles (50USD). WHAT A HUGE DIFF. I had no clue it was 150soles until I got the bill. I complained to a manager (Alberto) - and he did nothing.... More

My mate recommended this place claiming Pescados Capitales to be current hot place in Lima. AND he was man of his words. This restaurant was very crowded indeed esp. with male population; I guess this place is used for business luncheon frequently. Complimentary clam ceviche was great; full of coriander and lime juice. We shared ceviche con pulpo which was... More
