Setting, selection, service, style and value what more would you want. I was thoroughly impressed, I wish we had restauranteurs as good as this in Australia. Your accomplishments are deserved.

Slow service. Poor selection of wine by the glass. Ordered a piqueo of ceviches, one had more onions that steamer clams, the other reeked of sillau(soy sauce) and the 'tired' tiradito had a greasy fish, that looked like little smelts. The main course was cabrilla or chita whole(waitress never told us what was served) The fish was cooked well, the... More

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant - the first time was when it was still in Miraflores, close to Parque Kennedy. Now at its new location in Casa Moreyra, guests have more seating options. The (huge) house is lovely and spacious. The best way to be able to taste a good number of dishes is to... More

The restaurant is situated in an old family 'home' - which is massive and takes up most of a city block. There is a internal, central atrium and each section of the property provides different kitchens and dining spaces. We opted for the 29 course tasting meal and were given a tour to start. The building itself is stunning and... More

Wow! We had an amazing meal here. Not only were all the courses beautifully decorated, there were also very tasty. We opted to do the tasting menu and it was really a culinary journey. The service exceeded all of our expectations - thank you Corina (sp?). The alcohol pairing were spot on. We actually enjoyed eating here more so than... More

Our hosts offered us a dinner at Astrid y Gaston. The first thing to strike you is the entrance to the place. It is a large colonial mansion in the middle of the city. The restaurant area is surprisingly modern, and in my opinion rather mundane, when compared to the entrance. Everything we ate was interesting, excellent, and there was... More

This is a restaurant impossible to forget. You can enjoy the combined tastes of the peruvian food: fish, seafood, vegetables, fruits, exotics meat... Delicious appetizers, wonderful main dishes and amazing desserts.

Dinner at Astrid y Gaston was a most magnificent experience. From the journey in the cab ride, seeing the beautiful San Isidro area, to the last dessert plate, our senses were given a jolly ol' treat. It is worth noting that the restaurant has moved to the Casa Hacienda Moreyra, wonderfully outfitted in a swanky neighbourhood. We almost went to... More

Will just say that the food is very good. Great variety of dishes, some things I had never heard of. Risked and did great. Love the atmosphere despite being noisy. Service was ok. So now, I will criticize the wines. Obviously there are great wines, but prices are prohibited for a normal spender. Regular wines are overpriced. What you would... More
