We were able to get a reservation at the new Astrid y Gaston in Casa Moreyra (Avenida Paz Soldan 290, San Isidro, Lima). It has been open only 8 days at this location when we went for lunch. In a new beautiful setting, Astrid y Gaston occupies the Casa Moreyra, an old “Casa Hacienda,” that has been renovated in minimalistic... More

Manage to get a reservation at the new location. It was its first night attending public and it was quite an experience. We even shared a few comments with Astrid who was making sure everything went fine on its opening day. We went to what is called de Barra, an informal section of the restaurant. Ordering a la carte. It... More

Great restaurant to eat! Make sure you make a reservation in advance, since for dinner it might be busy! For Europeans, the value for money is great, number 14 of the world, for quite cheap.. If you are a few days in Lima, try to get in here :)

Astrid & Gaston to my experience is one of the best restaurants in America. Everything is A+++ and I really think it would grow to be one of the best in the world.

For me it is the best restaurant in Peru and nothing to envy from the top restaurants in the whole world. You can notice the passion invested in each detail, starting from the reception until you leave the restaurant. The food and desserts are simply delicious! The mixing of the flavours is just spectacular! If you come to Peru, this... More

There is ni way to avoid Astrid y Gastòn in a visit to Lima. A restaurant that has over 20 years being one of the best and changing to a peruvian style food that is always excellent. With excellent service and one of the best settings.

We were very impressed. They gave us a book with the explanation for the menu, all the plates were created to serve the food also by the chef, he thought about the music the tasting menu is decided by acts, and the story about a voyage was very nice, he made 25 very tasting dishes and the wine pairing wasn't... Really good and innovative Peruvian cooking. Sometimes I wished that Michelin would rate Peruvian restaurants, because this one would surely get a star. If you like fine dining, you cannot missed out on this experience.
