All time classic Peruvian in Lima!

This classic Peruvian restaurant has been around for over 30 years and has kept its style and quality. All dishes are classic, hearty Peruvian cuisine and most days you can try them on their buffet. This is not the refined Peruvian cuisine that most reviews are about today, however, for a feel of... read more

When you first walk into the restaurant, you'll feel like you've walked into a 1960s. It has a very quaint look but is very spacious. My waiter, Jose Quesada, was ridiculously professional and nice. He spoke fluent English and when recommending food items, wove it in the a engaging story. But let's go to the important part -- the food.... More

There are 2 Jose Antonio restaurants in Lima. We return to Lima every 2 years and always go to the restaurant in San Borja which is fantastic. This time we tried the restaurant in San Isidro and it was also fantastic but I was a little disappointed with my dish, I had the Chupe de Camarones which is one of... More

Excellent choice to eat traditional Peruvian food. Cute colonial atmosphere, and excellent costumer service. I loved the "Anticuchos" do not miss it.

This is a really great restaurant to eat typical Peruvian food. I went to the location in Chacarilla. The lunch buffet is great, the best. You can a little bit of everything this way you can taste different foods. Not to be missed!! The buffet includes desserts too.

The place looks quite typical and cosy. Portions are huge so do not order more that one dish. The quality of food and wines is very good and the service is very solicit. It is worthy a visit if you are spending a night close to San Isidro.

High quality fare, old school attentive service - and charming all around. Shades of Casa Lucio. A Lima standard, always enjoyable. Recently beef heart was spectacular.
