We had an excellent dinner here. It’s an established, upper-tier establishment, with what appeared to be a deep and loyal local following. One more felt a part of a relaxed, neighborhood scene than an isolated client at an expense account venue. There’s very little sense of cutting edge, either in the décor or on the menu. But everything exudes quality,... More

Five years ago my husband and I visited Lima while I was pregnant and spent 6 weeks in Miraflores. We discovered Rafael and it become our favorite place. We both agreed when the kids get old enough we are coming back to Lima and Rafael. WE sure did. We spent 5 weeks during December 2014 and January 2015 and have... More

Just the right note of festivity without having to "dance past midnight"...Just fabulous food to start the new year. We had a variety of menu selections among our group of six and all were absolutely perfect. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, the ambiance festive without dominating conversation, and the food the best we could have hoped for.

The restaurant is one of the most wanted in Lima. Be sure to set a table SOME DAYs before your visit. We ordered via internet site and it was very easy :-) Canelonni stuffed with lobster was the best! Also drinks / cocktails are nice, but less special (I had better drinks in other part).

It is a classic and very friendly restaurant. The menu is original but traditional. The food wonderful, the service excellent and the place nice. Every time I go to Lima I go to Rafael. For me it is just a must in Lima!

Very creative and absolutely amazingly tasting food; seafood, meat or vegetarian dishes. It is a reasonably priced restaurant.

this is one of the best restaurants ive been to. Service, presentation are top class, the food is spectacular!! I think its a fair price too. Have the Risotto with fish and the vaccio meat the combination is incredible. A must in lima, i thank our travel agents everyday for the recommendation thats how good it was.

Excellent and creative dishes. If Peruvian fusion gastronomy is your thing, Rafael's will continue your education. Atmosphere is charming and the wait staff are well-informed and bilingual. It can get a bit pricey however, especially since the wine list seemed to lack options for a bottle of red under S/250. That said, the sommelier recommended a fine pairing with our... More

Unbelievable food and service! So beautifully prepared and interesting, artisanal dishes. We had a great and extremely knowledgeable waiter from a Portugal who enhanced our experience that much more!

We ended having lunch here by mistake. Since we had a flight to catch we couldn't be exactly choosy. The tiradito was yummy. (I did not notice that I ordered this dish everywhere I went in peru, until my friend pointed this out...so I am a tiradito lover and might just be a tiradito expert...it was good...but not the best...the...
