We ate here Sept 1st for my daughters birthday. We chose this place due to the good reviews. When ordering a table we was told they were fully booked but we could be seated at the bar with the same food menu. We arrived and was seated at a table close to bar so was happy! Food was quite nice,... More

The original plates we ordered, the lobster and the crab, they were out of them. The seafood is fresh and cooked to order. The lamb meatballs in curry sauce where out if this world and the fresh fish of the day, akishizo style made up for the lobster I missed.

I cannot understand why this restaurant is not on the top ten list in Lima. The food is a dream, to be eaten with closed eyes. Excellent taste, wonderful presentation, friendly service. Without reservation is very hard to eat there. I have to confess that I tried 2 once I was alone and it worked to eat at an small... More

This restaurant has recently reopened after renovations. It is very chic, service is excellent, bar and wine choices broad, but neither my husband nor I was impressed with the food. My husband had linguini with crab and complained that he had a very hard time finding the crab. I had a rather small langostino and crab item that was pretty... More

Rafael, has everything. Great attention, unbelievable food and a great atmosphere. The perfect combination between peruvian food and a twist of the cheff. We had superb pisco sours. The grilled octopus was fantastic so were the ceviche the red curry. The red tuna tartar OMG! A must while at Lima!

Before coming to this restaurant I never liked ceviche, I really like it here. I wasn't a big fan of scallops either, but here they are to die for! I can't wait to see what comes next...

Lucky for us, Rafael was near our hotel. Though we didn't have reservations, we were seated with full menu and excellent service in the back near the bar. My partner had the "Cabrito de leche horneado con madeira" and I had the "Crocante cochinillo de leche confitado en jugo 'mibakami'". Both dishes were excellent--one of the best dining experiences we... More

I went here on my recent trip to Lima. The restaurant was close to our hotel but unfortunately we did not discover it until our last night. We literally went here 3 hours prior to our flight because we wanted a chance to at least try it. We sat at the bar and the service was quick and friendly. We... More

Having wanted to have a great dining experience in Lima, I found out about 2013 top 50 restaurants in Latin America. Turns out my hotel is only about 15-20 minutes walk to Rafael on Ca. Saint Martin 300 at Miraflores. I walked in to the restaurant around 8 PM and well received by the hostess. Food is excellent, portion is... More
