Wonderful food and service

High end food quality, service and price. We truly enjoyed our visit. Every thing was perfect, start with the host and our waitress to the food itself and the atmosphere.

Food in Lima is so good everywhere I went but I have to admit Rafael is one of the best places to eat. Portions are small but flavorful. Dessert is equally good. The place is small and always full better reserve in advance.

I had been to Rafael at Bogota In Colombia and we were meeting investment Bankers JPM and before we realized it was time for Dinner, we asked for recommendations and they said original Rafael is in Lima.we tried. To book and it was full till 10 pm we still decided to take a chance, and hostess Nikita was kind to... More

This is a smallish restaurant tucked away down a residential street in Miraflores, but it has a great reputation and booking is essential. The staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable, and we were hard pushed to choose our dishes as the whole menu looks so delicious. We both had fish (lobster confit in my case) and it was super fresh... More

Nice cozy place where family and friends can have a wonderful time. The food entirely represents what Peruvian gastronomy has to offer. It is very difficult to me to recommend one dish only but I can assure all I've tried so far was beyond excellence. A very useful tip: Make a reservation in order not to wait too long for... More

Prior to visiting Lima I made a list of Trip Advisor's highly rated restaurants. We were so lucky - Rafael was only 2 blocks from our hotel! We were fortunate to get a reservation for a Monday evening; there were people waiting for the doors to open at 8 pm (looked like a lot of successful business locals). The glowing... More

Visited Rafael on a Friday evening. The restaurant opens at 8 and was filled up very quickly. We ordered the lobster and gnochhi. And a adictivo chocolat for dessert. The food was excellent and the ambience great.

I was taken there by a friend from Lima. The food was wonderful, barbecued octopus and scallops in the shell for a shared starter, the a wonderful sea bass followed by a delightful desert that I could not identify, but we ate it all. Very busy restaurant and hard to get a reservation, but definitely a must for anyone visiting... More

We had an enjoyed dinner here last Friday evening. We shared a combination of tapas mains and they were all great. Decor and service are what you would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. I am looking forward to going again

We didn't have a reservation. You need a reservation at least a week in advance. We arrived 15 minutes before the 8pm opening and we were seated in the bar for our dinner. It was worth taking a chance and it paid off. The ceviche and pisco sours were great to start. Then my husband and I each had different... More
