Wonderful last night in Lima

Excellent restaurant in Miraflores district. Seafood a specialty. Flavorful and wonderful presentation. Great wine list. Very cool decor. Highly recommend it.

We started with ceviche and we never made it past the ceviche on the menu. Dive into the ceviche sampler plate with four different ceviche styles. The flavors of each one are superb, mouthwatering, and unlike any sampler plate I have experienced. We ate at pricier, trendier restaurants while in Lima--but this is the ceviche that I still daydream about.... More

We ate here twice because we were so impressed with the freshness of the seafood and the friendly staff. Ceviche was wonderful, my husband had a piece of salmon in a curry sauce and we finished it with a divine chocolate mousse. I wish I was still there.

The ceviche is very good but their main fish fishes are just ok, nothing special, and high priced for average food. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is nice, but there are better restaurants around for the money. We were disappointed. Even the chocolate dessert with ice cream only Looked Good but missed on flavor.

In Lima to join a tour I was on my own for a few days before I joined up with the group. I wanted to stay in the Miraflores area since it is within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean and although I didn't know it at the time, close to the native Indian Market. Alfresco was recommended by one... More

Like other Tripadvisor reviewers we found the food quite good, nice service. But when the bill came, all the prices had been increased by 10-15% relative to the menu!! I asked the waiter if this was the tip (propina). No: it was a computer error. Again?! Go to Alfresco because the food is good, but CHECK your bill!!

This is a well laid out restaurant.....attentive staff and so on...and they make very good Pisco Sours. The food was quickly served and looked very good, but lacked flavour...we did both try different things and both felt the same. Its not inexpensive......for two sours, two main courses and a bottle of wine it was about 270 soles, not a huge... More

Our hotel recommended Alfresco when we requested local seafood. Just a short walk away, we walked into a quiet area and sested immediately, we did have a reservation. We were given a small bowl of toasted corn kernels that we could've snacked on all evening, however we were here for dinner. We ordered, and thoroughly enjoyed Salmon Menier, which had... More

The food was not according the menu. My risotto was with crab, skid and shrimps but only had hard skid. Even after complaining they don't care about it. But the worst was the final bill where I paid 159 soles and they charged me 30 soles more as a tip without my authorization. I hope my credit card bank will... More

Thanks to our waiter we tried the grilled octopus. Something that I was surprised my wife would jump on. Octopus when it consists of all of a small octopus is not a pretty thing, however it was served with a few potatoes and grilled vegetable and as long as you didn't concentrate on it then it was fantastic. For entrees... More
