In my opinion the place is cozy and charming.... Nice service, personalized attention. The warmth environment not only comes from the spices but also from the love that Waheed the owner puts in every dish he makes. One of the best experiences I have ever had. Totally recommended. Would be advised to make reservations.

Lima isn't quite a mecca of wonderful Indian food, but Guru is great! As a vegetarian, it was especially helpful that their menu has multiple (and delicious) vegetarian options. I had the vegetarian samosas (which were alright), but the mixed vegetable curry was really awesome! The garlic naan hit the spot as well. The service was great. One of my... More

My fiancee and I love this place a lot. We discovered it few months ago, seeking some interesting exotic food. Even though the place is not so big, everything else there is perfect. Now, point by point: 1) Food. That's delicious. Even though we want to try something new every time we go there, we still couldn't manage to move... More

There's probably an infinite amount of good food in Peru, most of it can be found in Lima. If you're in the city for any length of time though, you might want to try something completely different from the usual Peruvian fare. This has been hard to do until fairly recently because local food is just that good and most... More
