Fantastic Lima Restaurant

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lima- the price is right, the food is fresh and the margaritas are magical. It looks like a hole in the wall with no sign but the amazing aroma leads me there at least once a month!

Awesome place to eat! Just a few minutes away from the ocean - great views and things to do here - great architecture and super friendly people. Delicious burritos and tacos!! Every time I am in Lima I make sure to stop by here for a veggie burrito - awesome sauces too. Have yet to find a spot that is... More

Even though we are from New Zealand which is far removed from Mexico we do enjoy, and are exposed to, a lot of Mexican cuisine. That said my wife and I have never had tacos as tasty as at this place. Had the pescado tacos to share and all the ingredients, seasonings and spice where spot on. Hand made soft... More

Pork burrito was good, sauce on table was too hot to be the only sauce. They forgot to give me my chips and guacamole but after the food of course I didn't want it. If you order 1 soft taco it's like 3 tacos worth of taco filing on one tiny tortilla and it just wasn't manageable at all for... More

This place serves big, relatively cheap concoctions filled with rice, beans and a bit of meat, wrapped in a flour "tortilla" they label "burritos." There is very little resemblance to any Mexican chili flavor in any of it. Their guacamole and chips is pathetic. The chili sauce is just spicy (picante) but not Mexican flavored at all. To distinguish yourself... More

Burrito Bar is located a couple of blocks down from the Barranco Plaza de Armas on Avenida Grau. A small restaurant that's easy to miss, so it's better to walk from the Plaza de Armas. Facing Avenida Grau from the Plaza de Armas make a right and walk on the sidewalk on the right side of the street. Walk somewhat... More

Best value Burritos I have ever had hands down. But for me the highlight was the Quesadillas with meat. The Margheritas are the perfect compliment.

We walked by the place on the first pass, and hesitated to enter on the second...it is not nearly as appealing from the street as the Tripadvisor photo indicates. But press on! As other reviewers say, great flavors and friendly service....the lemonade comes out immediately and is excellent....yes, the hottest salsa is a bit on the medium side, but the... More

Who would expect a Londoner in Lima to cook up an excellent burrito? This is a great place in the wonderful Barranco restaurant scene. Went there 3 times in my week and 1/2 in Barranco. I asked Olivia, my waitress, to fix up the best thing for me. She really delivered; a carnitas burrito with red frijoles and a sweet... More

Burrito Bar is an excellent place to go for a quick bite to eat or food to take away. it is always busy but despite this i have never had to wait very long over the 6 or 7 times i have been. i have never had a better burrito or quesadilla. Also the business is run by an Englishman... More
