Description: Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.

Fun, quirky restaurant with well prepared local specialties in good, central location. Solid choices, very reasonable prices, unhurried and attentive service.

Highly recommended. Nuevo Andino cuisine. Good service and food. Near center of Miraflores. I had the raviolis with ají sauce: excellent!

We went in a large group, but I think the environment suits better for small groups or couple. Food was delicious but our order didnt come all at once, that was a bit dissapointing for some of us. The waiter could have done better with the drinks menu...

We've eaten there twice and the food was great. Last visit we shared appetizers: rare bonita in lime/basil sauce, panko prawns with passion flower/ginger dipping sauce, and panko/sesame seed crusted scallops with local salad. Everything was outstanding, bursting with flavors. Coupled with a bottle of wine, it made for a lovely afternoon.

Loved the piña colada virgin. The food was quite good. Adequate place for an informal lunch with family and/or friends; or some drinks as well.

We had a delightful time as this funky restaurant in the middle of downtown Lima. We enjoyed an amazing, affordable bottle of Chilean wine, accompanied by a delicious salad and toasted bread slices, followed by ravioli and chicken and then a wild and crazy dessert - little puffed pastry shells filled with a delicious concoction - the waiter said to... The restaurant does not look extraordinary from outside, but when you get the food the things are changing. Quite small variety of Peruvian dishes prepared on "fusion" way. Have few pasta dishes too, but made the Peruvian way. Beatiful arrangements on the plates and very tasteful. Try their pisco sours, and their awesome deserts. The place is cosy and very... More

Eaten at Saqra a number of times now and it has been consistently high quality in its welcome, service, and (most importantly!) food and drink. Have tried lots on the excellent menu but pick of the bunch would be: morcilla (interesting twist) for starter, tacu tacu for main, and bunuelos to finish. Delicious! They also prepare excellent drinks - great... More
