Fun and nice atmosphere

This place is different from other bars I've seen: it is located in the district of Barranco in an old house that was restored to its original splendor but the decoration is an eclectic Peruvian style mixed with shamanisim and witchcraft from the Andes and jungle. Lovely colonial house in Barranco for after work. The drinks are very well thought and tasty, loved their Coca Sour and Chamaco cocktail. The food is of very good quality which I didn't expect at first as I thought the place had focused mainly on their drinks. I would recommend their Ronda Marina , anticuchos and picarones !

Drinks here are great, specially if you like Pisco Sour. The staf was kind too. But the place is marvelous. Lots of different rooms, each with different and original ornamentation. The place itself is an old mansion, vey beautiful

When my friends and I first walked in I wondered what all the stacks of booksand newspapers lining the walls were - then I realised they were newspapers bundles from dailies across Peru and beyond. How cool would it be to dust off a few and be taken straight back to times when Peru wasn't always like this. The service... More

Really interesting. Fun to just walk around and look at all the rooms and decoration. It was super crowded, yummy but expensive drinks, etc. Definitely go there once, it would be great with a whole group of friends if you can find seating. My boyfriend and I aren't usually into this kind of thing, it was slightly intimidating, but so... More

They made and extra charge of 4 soles to our fruir juice and said that it was because it was made of camu camu. We do undertand that it is an expensive fruit but this... More

What really works for every non south american tourist, is old, historic places and architecture. Ayahusca bar is mounted on an antique house, filled with hidden spaces, music everywhere, lights, etc. Really recommended. Drinks are off the hook. and if you pay a little bit extra, you can keep as a souvenir the waitress... just kidding, the glass where they... More

Pass the garden door, jump the elegant marble staircase and enter in "Ahahuasca" beautiful colonial mansion. Elegant contemporary decoration mixed with peruvian traditonal artifacts creates a real pleasant athmosphere. The mixed crowd like the team are very welcoming and makes the place ideal to enjoy the famous "Pisco Sour"as a start for a cool tropical evening even in winter, when... More
