We found out about this restaurant in a travel magazine 3 month before we went to Peru. Good thing we did because we were lucky to get reservations for 4 for the first dinner sitting. We went there already knowing what we were going to order. We treated ourselves to the Elevation Tasting Menu of 17 courses and each course... More

We were not able to get a reservation so we went right before opening time, we were seated at the waiting area for a few minutes and we were lucky to get a table shortly after. We got a degustation menu and enjoyed the experience, the food was good and very interesting.

We went to Central with my husband's family, who are from Lima and know the restaurant's chef Virgilio. He is so passionate about Peruvian food and I truly felt it in the food experience. It was an experience - culinary and sensory, and not simply a meal. Each course was made of indigenous Peruvian vegetables, grains and seafood. Foods I... More

A must do in Lima (what else is there to do there but eat?) We had the 17 course degustation. Food was perfect and, interesting and balanced. Service courteous and charming. Interior nice enough with complete views of the kitchen. We are not big eaters and of course struggled towards the end. Best meal I've had (been to a few... More

Cute place...you can tell there is a lot of details involved in creating the place, great management, super nice and friendly service but the food was average. There were far more better places than this one. Maybe not as fancy or trendy but who cares you go to restaurants mainly for the food.

Disappointing...went there for Peruvian food and was not what I expected ...it was fusion and micro food!!! I thought I was in Chicago at Alinea micro lab food and pricey. After a 100 usd tab on food and two cocktails per person ( 4 of us ) with out tip ended up going to a Chifa (Chinese restaurant) nearby so... More

Went here with some friends who were visiting me in Lima. We opted for their large tasting menu, which was amazing. Food was presented delicately on decorated plates. Wine pairing was generous. We also got to meet the chef itself, which was really nice :)

Make sure you have a reservation here. We made our far in advance and glad we did -- we saw many parties turned away at the door. Also, the site advises that the tasting menus are in limited quantities, so best to advise the restaurant ahead of time which you prefer. We opted for the lengthier tasting menu -- Elevations,...
