This is a must stop if you are visiting the Miraflores district. Manolo serves great coffee and chocolate and the best pastries along Avenida Larco. I did not try the sandwiches, but they looked substantial and appetizing. If you want to sit at a table, be prepared to wait awhile, though not too long.... and you will not be disappointed.... More

Have passed by this place many times on my business trips to Lima. Stopped in for the first time, I AM GLAD I DID ! The best CHURROS I have ever eaten, and I live in Miami where Churros are everywhere. MANOLO's Churros are Fresh, Hot and just perfect. Their expresso coffee is also good (not as good as Cuban... We discovered this place on out last night in Lima - wish we had found it sooner! What drew our attention to it was that the place was crowded with locals and a few tourists. There is a very extensive menu, prices are moderate, food is very good. Would definitely eat there again should we return to Lima.

Great diner to feed your appetite no matter what you want. Similar to American diner menus, this place will offer you anything you want, traditional, simple, local, or even American food. When getting off the plane after over 12 hours of traveling this is a great spot to hit. We each ordered the lomo saltado sandwich - see pictures -... More

suggested to us as the place in lima where to experience churros, manolo did not let us down: pastry not overfried and filling of consistent quality (for sake of completeness, we tried caramel, chocolate and custard). a bit colorful as a place, with waiters fighting like roosters to serve us.

I had the distinct pleasure of being invited to this Lima institution by a good friend to have coffee and churros with chocolate. The service was good. Not particularly attentive but we were content to be left to our own devices this day. The churros if ordered with come with a coffee CUP full of chocolate. It decadent and delicious.... More

Churros with chocolate aren't that cheap. Other food on the menu isn't that cheap either and didn't look too appetizing. Churros were good and I'd only stick with them. Server was not the friendliest.

Ok, we stopped at Manolo for lunch while we were passing by. What drew our attention towards it was the fact that the place was really crowded with locals, businessmen and some tourists (not many), and it looks like it has been there forever with its middle-aged waiters and old style counters and tables. The place is very busy, so... More
