My brother and I ate at Panchita last night. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. The meal starts with a selection of home made bread which are stunning. Soft, warm and full of flavour. The main courses were sensational. My brother had the Lomo Saltado and I had Tacu tacu. Each mouthful was an a delicious adventure, one we... More

We had checked on TA and saw that Panchita had very good ratings. They are well deserved. There were four of us and we all ordered different meals. Each one of us was very happy with what we had chosen. I had asked if maybe I needed to order a side dish to go with the main chosen. No need... More

This is supposed to be Upscale Peruvian street food. Reading the other reviews I thought we would get large portions but that was not the case. To start, the servers come around with bread, which you would think is free but on the menu is shown as 7 per person. The sword fish was good, but there were only 5... More

Such a great find in Miraflores. This restaurant is slightly off the main roads and a little hard to find, but the kitchen stays open late and serves up delicious foods. We went with a group of four and split 3 entrees for dinner. The meal began with a varied selection of breads and dips and continued with 3 delcious... More

This restaurant was right near our hotel the Allpa Hotel. We went in to celebrate a friends birthday while in Peru. The food is excellent and the service matched. 1 vegetarian, me and the rest not. Everyone was satisfied including me which an octopus dinner. They have an amazing looking salad bar which we all passed on. The waiters did... More

We had very high hopes for Panchita but did not have a good experience. The menu is only in Spanish, which makes it difficult for English speakers and seems like a bad decision for a restaurant with many tourists. We were given an english speaking waiter, who did not take the time to explain the menu. The service was extremely... More

The time: Sunday lunchtime, very crowded...the girls on the entrance are super nice and gave us a reservation on short notice! The place: Not "Overfancy", cousy and despite that there where a lot of children there reasonable quiet! Thats certainly a surprise in Lima where everything is usually loud . The service: Quick , friendly and unobtrusive...nice! The food: Pastel... More

The pisco sour was nice and strong! While I wasn't blown away by the food, it was still good. The presentation was nice and the portions were big. A solid choice!

Great food, nice environment. Try the octopus skewers and the chicha morada local drink. The causa and the tiraditos are excellent. I loved their rice pudding.
