I'm half Peruvian and my partner is German/Philippina so I wanted to take her to a place where we could both feel at home and Panchita was it. They had menu's in English and we were able to sample native dishes and some fusion dishes. The guinea pig was very well cooked. This restaurant is a chain of restaurants which... More

Food is great, the best being their bread tablewith sauces... amazing. Service was a bit slow, but it was understandable as it was packed. Would strongly recommend.

I went to Lima with my husband and we went to Panchita for lunch. I was in awe of the decorations and layout of the restaurant. The service was amazing and all the waiters were excellent and attentive. I am a vegetarian and eat gluten free and the chef made an excellent meal for me. They also have two types... More

Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. They made a great Pisco Sour. We ordered the Beef Heart Anticuchos, which was delicious - my husband and I had several on the trip and these were by far our favorite. We also ordered the baby goat con lechal - also fabulous, so tender and delicious with the variety of... More

I went with two friends today at lunch time. Two of us needed a bit of salt and asked for a salt shaker, which in my view should have been at the table already. Salt shaker brought in. Salt shaker taken out without permission. This is supposed to be a high level establishment and their budget does not allow them... More

Panchita is a large restaurant in the swanky Miraflores sub-division of Lima. The restaurant is very nice although the lighting was a bit bright. No English menu, but they found a waiter who spoke English and did a good job of guiding us through the options. The food is an upscale version of traditional Peruvian fare. It was tasty but... More

Crowded with locals at lunch and dinner. Open early so a great place to have lunch. Sat at the bar -- only Peruvian wine by the glass -- pretty good. Menu in in Spanish only, so have to ask for translation -- If you want to go where the locals go this is the place!

Wanted to spend our last night of our holiday at a nice restaurant. Our hotel concierge suggested this place and I was a little unsure as the reviews were mixed. Decided to go ahead and we made a reservation for 8pm. From reading the reviews, I noticed that one reviewer mentioned they took their own wine with them. Concierge confirmed... More

I always go with my friends, a very nice and delightful place to enjoy with friends and family. They let you take your wine, Plates are great to take as entres, so everybody can taste a little bit of everything. Reservations are a must.
