Two years in a row I've been to Panchita. The drinks are well prepared by attentive staff. The bread is awesome. The menu is large and changed slightly over the past year but many good things remain. It's a solid choice when in Miraflores and you are looking for a good time. Wait staff has been helpful both times I've... More

We dined here while on a recent vacation in Peru. When our waiter saw us struggling with the Spanish menu, he sent over another server to help us figure it out in English. We ordered the sampler appetizer, which was shared by 4 and still was more than enough. Each entree we enjoyed was well prepared and tasty. Try the... More

If you're looking for a good place to try the Peruvian speciality of beef heart anticuchon then Panchita is a good choice. The guinea pig on the other hand was a little disappointing - deep fried and a little sickly. The waiters were helpful but it's slightly strange that there was no English translation on the menu when the restaurant... More

This place was really excellent! The food was traditional Peruvian and it was done so well! It was a little inaccessible for English speakers, but hey, we were in a foreign country, we can't expect everything to be so easy. Our group all ordered different things and really kind of went on a whim not knowing what every ingredient was.... More

The food was as good as expected for one of the "Gaston" restaurants. It lived up to its reputation in the food quality. The ambience was a bit too serious for my usual taste and I felt like the wait staff were overly dry and formal considering the decor and set up.

In the Miraflores district of Lima, we tried this restaurant from reviews from here and what a treat it was. Great location, food and service. Our waiter spoke both English and French and made great suggestions from the menu. We highly recommend.

We ordered the appetizer sampler (huge!), and split what was essentially an impeccably cooked, juicy chicken milanese with fries. BEST cocktail of our trip -- a pisco-based drink with fresh passion fruit juice. Deliciously tangy and strong. Go here! Wish we had more of an appetite and a larger group so we could have tried more things!!

Both the local Tourist Information Center and our tour guide operator recommended Panchita. We stopped for lunch, as the restaurant opened, and were quickly seated. By the time we left the place was packed. Our wait staff was friendly, attentive, informative and provided excellent service. The menu was in Spanish, and even though we had a fluent Spanish speaker with... More

We came in to Panchita in April 2014, without a reservation, and we waited briefly at the bar for seating for two. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The drinks at the bar were phenomenal -- I had a Pisco Sour which was very good. We ordered the Piqueo Dona Pancha, and the Aji de Pollo. The Piueo Dona... More

My boyfriend and I do not normally EVER go to the same restaurant twice when visiting a new city; neither do we spend our time writing TripAdvisor reviews. However, Panchita deserves an exception to both rules. The place is stylish and modern yet very cozy, the staff is excellent, efficient and helpful with explaining the menu in English (yeah, forget... More
