Anticuchos... order them. You will not regret it. We went on a Thursday night. There was a bit of a wait, but the bar had an amazing menu with lots of different Pisco concoctions. We rolled out. This was my first meal in Peru and it was truly brilliant. An extremely popular place it seems. We ordered stuffed bell pepper dish called Rocoto Relleno which was delicious. They also provide various types of sauces to accompany your dishes which were spicy and tasty. Also, we ordered Arroz con Leche with blueberry sauce was tasty. Service is very... More

The restaurant has a very nice decoration, the anticuchos were great. When you get there they bring you a huge table with all kind of breads, yes, they also charge you for those, I think it was a little overpriced for the kind of food.

Peru is famous for excellent culinary experience. Unfortunately my husband does not eat seafood, so it makes this place a great choice for traditional Peruvian dinning experience without seafood. Come here, you wanna try their Anticuchos. I tried beef heart, and it was delicious. The only complain was just because the dish was so big and my husband resisted organs,... More

Yesterday night with a friend we went to Panchitas to try the "anticuchos", Heart beef, Octopus, Veel Sweetbread and Sword fish. The anticuchos are food on sticks like the Kebab but on the peruvian style and flavor. It was superb, if you have the chance must try it. The place is nice, good service and friendly service, if you do... More

In Cusco, we were hoping to try cuy (guinea pig) at Kusikuy but we opted to go sightseeing in San Blas instead. Back in Lima, I remembered that La Panchita serves cuy and creole dishes so off we went for lunch at another one of Gaston Acurio's excellent restaurants. I've decided to dub him "The Ambassador of Peruvian Cuisine" -... More

My wife and I had dinner at Panchita in February 2015. Panchita is excellent is every way possible: food, service, ambiance. Highly recommended, do not miss it when in Lima.

We had dinner here on our first night in Peru after 15+hrs of travel time and was not disappointed. A word of warning, the portions were very generous. We wanted to try everything and was expecting small british portions. The home made bread was amazing! I could not even finish my 'starter' soup. Fortunately, they let us cancel my order... More

We went here due to the high ratings on tripadvisor. However, it was sadly disappointing. Definitely the place is beautiful and large with nice decor. Food tastes good. But it seems they favor Spanish speaking customers. Or some other reason that we got outstandingly poor service. Even though the place was not crowded when we got there, it soon got... More

We went to this restaurant for a very late lunch resp. an early dinner because we were just around, hungry and wanted to go there anyway one day. We were happy to find it open at about 6pm. There were not many other guests at that time, at least some, but I can imagine that the place gets packed in... More
