It's ALL GOOD!!!

Finished a tour of Lima. Asked the tour guide about a locals' restaurant for seafood. Punto Azul was recommended. There were lines, but a server would come out with pisco sours, chicha, or niblets of food while we waited for a table. It was truly worth the wait. The fish ceviche was served in a... read more

It is a good restaurant with tasty food, traditional Peruvian food, don't miss it. There are also Punto Azul restaurants in other neighborhoods like Miraflores. Nice food, good service and good prices.

In this place the CEVICHE is awesome. Very taste well served. This is probably is not a fine dining restaurant, but I went for lunch and it ws perfect. I also tried the Causa and the pisco sour and it was perfect. Price for the food was excellent. This plates are good for share between two,

Went here twice during my stay in Lima. Usually I would have gotten two different dishes, especially since I knew I would not be returning here any time in the near future. But the Punto Azul Mixed Seafood Ceviche was so delicious that, when I came back on my final night in Peru, I just couldn't pass up the chance... More

I came to the sad realization that most popular/higher end restaurants are lunch only places, while trying to find a good restaurant for dinner. Based on what was described to me, this is because Peruvian's big meal of the day is lunch and not dinner. That being said I luckily found Punto Azul was open and had great reviews. Since... More

Went here for lunch and dinner on different days while staying in Miraflores. The lunch was excellent; I had the tacu tacu (local style rice and seafood mixture); wife had the ceviche. Both were excellent; but we kept staring at other guests’ meals, as they all looked delicious as well. Because of how much we enjoyed lunch, we decided to... More

I was walking around the area in the afternoon and passed Punto Azul. An expat I met earlier highly recommended it. The line was half-way around the block and people waiting inside. I asked the concierge at my hotel when a good time would be to go. She recommended later at night around 7. I went at 6 and got... More

Last fish experience in Lima was horrible, so I asked some friends where to go. Punto Azul was the answer. Had to wait half hour for a table but that was ok. I could see the plates going to the tables. They looked amazing!!!! The first thing we tried was the Ceviche. That is the moment when you know if... More

I'm usually skeptical of places well rated, but Punto Azul deserves all its praise. We were in a hurry and lucky to not have waited long for a table. We ordered ceviche, arroz con mariscos, and the parmesan conchs. Everything was amazing! My only regret is that we had to run to the airport and couldn't finish everything. Do not... More

OMG the ceviche is soooooo freaking good! The Ceviche Punto Azul has a sauce that is to die for, and the traditional ceviche is great as well. There are plenty of other options for those who want more traditional meals, but the focus is definitely on seafood and the ceviche is the star of the show. The portions are huge... More
