Very good food, long waiting

Very nice restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices! We had to wait around 30 min to be seated, but it was worth it.

and it did not disappoint. The food is wonderful, the service excellent with a very pleasant staff and the portions are large. I had the Risotto de Camarones and my friend had the Pescado Ensalada. Both were exceptional. This place is a little pricey but worth it if you do not go on a regular basis.Every now and than go for it and treat... I was hoping for more based on other reviews. I didn't find the food or restaurant to be anything I would be sure to return to. I had the Cangrejo a la Macho, and the squid was chewy and tough. The leche de tigre was ok and average for Lima. Overall my impression is predominately frequented by tourist. Safe, average,... More

I went to this restaurant based on local friend recommendation and it was great experience. Food is here really good, I had Chupe de Pescado and it was fantastic. Prices are quite nice. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is inexpensive but good taste. Location is close to center and inside is not gorgeous but nice. I recommend this place for dinning or friend ... Could be any occasion.

When we arrived there was a line out the door so we started walking away, a lady that had just finished eating stopped us and said "seriously, it's worth the wait". So that's what we did and I am sure glad we did. We ordered a ceviche and a hot sea food dish as well with of course, pisco sours.... More

We went there Thursday night and it was still crowded, we all had ceviche which was great. I had some kind of seafood soup it was very tasty, others loved their food as well. We sat in the yard and it was a very pleasant very lovely dinner experience in Lima.

I'm fond of seafood. I'm also fond of "local" food. (Where I was in the Philippines years ago, I had dog for lunch. Go for it!) The staff at where we were staying--Inca Boutique, for the record--recommended this place. My wife had the ceviche. I had something, I forgot was it was called, but it was largely rice, beans and... We went here in December 2014 at the recommendation of our g adventures tour guide. Had a great meal here - the water was lovely and the food was great - portions were massive too! Always a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

Quality ceviche and excellent seafood choice. Service attentive. Agree that for backpackers price may be high (there are some excellent cheap "menu" places to get lunch in Lima which would be better options for people on a shoestring but not for seafood) but the portions are huge. If two go you could happily share one starter and one main and... More
