There are various Punto Azul restaurants dotted across Lima. All have a queue waiting outside by 1.30 in the afternoon. We went early - to the Punto Azul in San Borja. What a taste and colour experience it was. Highly recommended are the strips of raw fish in 3 different colour sauces - your choice from 6 wonderful flavors. Also... More

We went to Punto Azul in April 2014 in Lima, Peru at the recommendation of the owner of our hostel. We were very glad to have had lunch here, as it was very inexpensive, and VERY GOOD! We had the Tacu Tacu & The Jallea. The Tacu Tacu was rich, flavorful, and very plentiful....It came with some grilled calamari on... More

Everyone has mentioned the Ceviche, but they have a mean cocktail menu and make some great causas. The paella was also pretty great. For vegetarians, the menu is pretty slim. There is one veg causa on the trio plate and the risotto was delicious (giving the prawns to my partner). They are also now open late

We can only endorse the majority of reviews and say how good the ceviche was - as was the rest of the meal. Great value and quality - and superb choice of dishes if you go for something other than the ceviche - but why would you!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our travel agent Yulisa from Julius Tours. The food was fresh, delicious and well priced. No reservations so you must get here when they open at noon. It fills up very quickly and you know why. Service was very good too. It was so good that we came back again. They have free... More

The famous Ceviche is best prepared here!! fresh, tasty and abundant. Also I recommend the crab cause. You have to make a reservation because is a famous place and the prices are fare. The service and atmosphere are great

My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday, and it was perfect! The decoration is very nice, the ceviche was the best we ever had in Peru and they have very good special cocktails. I would say this is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, in couple, or with a larger group a friends.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch at the suggestion of our B&B owner, and we could not have been happier! There was a bit of a wait for lunch, which was a bummer, but turned out to be worth it. We tried the Causa de Pescado con Langostinos and the Tacu Tacu Negro. Both were so delicious, we couldn't... More
