The restaurant is nicely decorated, to service starts with "leche de tigre" free of charge, simply delicious. The Cebiche de Corvina is simply delicious. The seco de cordero great, the best I have ever had. After a wonderful meal, the owner came to greet us and we had a very nice chat. I would strongly recommend it.

Peruvian food from the north is know for the fish and seafood. Fernando and Arturo Vera are the brothers owners and chefs. Their food is very tasty and it follows the tradition. My favourites dishes are the causa de cangrejo, conchas a la parmesana y el arroz de mariscos. The chef prepares for my gringo husband Aji de galling y... More

They say you have to go here for the arroz con pato, but I was a bit disappointed with this dish. The duck was a bit hard and the rice under taste. But the ceviche the corvina and the mariscos al pilpil were so great that I still recommend Don Fernando! Nice to see the owner cook him self as... More

I went again to this very good restaurant, its my favorite in Lima, because I am from north of Peru and live on Florida USA, so every time that I am going back to Peru and Lima, I had the "obligation" to go there and taste what is the best of north of Peru's food. The "pato acuyado" meaning duck... More

After researching restaurants for my trip to Peru this was one of my finalists. I arrived for lunch without a reservation and they gave me a table without any problem. The cashier speaks some English. They even printed out English version of their menu for me. I ordered the Cabrito without bone. I got two pieces one with bone and... More

Went here after touring the Huaca site. All the outside seating was occupied so we dined inside. We had a fantastic well presented delicious meal at an affordable price. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Go.

Wonderful place, very unassuming tuck in the Jesus maria neighborhood. The food is delicious, love that is traditional northern Peruvian style and not your small bites. Pricing is just right, great service! Will come back !
