Went to this place based on the high reviews and recommendation. It is HIGHLY OVERRATED. The food presentation is probably the best I can mention about this place. The food is way too sweet for sushi. The fish and scallop is not the best I have in Lima. Even the soy sauce does not take good. The service is very... More

The food is excellent, i just love it. Is one of the best sushi bars in Lima. It have a lot of variety and the price is not too expensive. Actually, the price is really good. The service is always excellent, the decoration, the Itmaes and the quality of the food is perfect. You just have to go and enjoy... More

After a couple of years we went back to Edo for dinner and what a disappointment ! We went to the restaurante in San Isidro. The service is slow, not a tidy restaurant and the food is not what it used to be. To start with the makis were not cut evenly and the presentation was not what one expects... More

A nice surprise! The rolls we ordered were all very tasty and interesting. Not the "typical" sushi rolls, but still quite good. We had Maracuya sours as well and they were very good!

Super fresh sashimi, sushi and maki rolls prepared by talented chefs as you watch. Some of the dishes are unique creations, especially the maki rolls. Pricing works out to about 50 soles per head. Consider ordering a paquete consisting of sufficient sushi, sashimi and makis for two persons.

Today I went to EDO sushi bar at Jockey Plaza to have lunch. When I ordered makis I told the waiter very clearly that I am allergic to prawns. Ten minutes after bringing my order he came back and told me that one of the makis I had already eaten had prawns, and gave me a pill. When I enquired... More

Excellent and authentic sushi bar in the Miraflores district of Lima. The seafood was fresh and the atmosphere very mindful of the sushi bars we encountered in the Kanto Plain of Japan. Despite the large number of patrons, we were seated immediately at a rustic wooden bench and service was remarkably efficient.

Good service, fresh ingredients but nothing really outstanding or memorable. For the price range a few other places to explore in Lima which might have something more to offer.

Some of the worst sushi places I've been to.. most of the choices contain something fried. Very little actual fresh fish. I sat at the sushi bar and saw all the rolls come out.. they contained twice as much rice as it should.. rice overload. Also, the appetizers are really salty. Way too much sauce is used, the flavor of... More

Back when sushi or Japanese food wasn't even popular in the US, Peruvians were already enjoying the great experience of well made sushi. Edo has captured the essence of traditional sushi and sashimi and taken it to the next level by adding some of the flavors of the vast and wonderful Peruvian cuisine, resulting in a unique experience with an...
