Beautiful views of the garden, tasty food

After enjoying two museums this morning, we were happy to enjoy a long lunch at the museum restaurant. Portions were large, ceviche was perfect and so was my lomo saltado. I enjoyed a Peruvian white wine, too, but can't recall the name. The restaurant was quite busy, including some large groups... read more

The museo larco is an absolute must visit, but skip the cafe or just get a coffee. The food is overpriced for what it is - perhaps foreseeable given the prime location. It is beautiful there, though so worth taking in the view with a drink.

The setting at Museo Larco was absolutely beautiful and that alone made the trip worthwhile. There are loads of gorgeous flowers, plus there are hanging lanterns that are filled with lit candles at night...truly awesome scenery. The food and service, however, were just okay....good, but not great. They were out of the appetizer that my husband ordered and then actually... More

My husband and I and 4 others had lunch at this Cafe after touring the museum. The food was really good and the grounds are beautiful. Service was a little slow but we were in no hurry.

After an inspiring tour of Museo Larco what better than dining surrounded by their beautiful gardens! Our meal included appetizer, main course and dessert. For the appetizer we chose the Solterito Salad - corn, olives, potato, rocoto pepper, onion, tomato and fresh cheese in olive oil and lime juice. Light, tasty and refreshing. One main was the Lomo Saltado -... More

Our group of five concluded a guided city tour at the Museo Larco, and our decision to have a meal at the Cafe del Museo turned out to be a good one. As many other reviewers have noted, the restaurant is an experience equal to the museum's collection. The outside seating was very pleasant and attractive, the service good, the... More

My husband and I spent our first afternoon in Lima at Museo Larco. My husband had skimped on breakfast and wasn't going to make it until our dinner reservation. So we took a break from the museum to go eat at the cafe. Divine! The outdoor patios are lovely with beautiful foliage. The menu comes in English or Spanish and... More

the restaurante is located inside the premises of the Larco Museum, I would suggest to visit the Museum in the evening, and end your visit taking dinner here, before returning to the hotel. The service was very good, food was excellent, the pisco sour offered was very good, so to sum up, one of the best restaurants set in a... More

The setting is gorgeous. The staff initially seemed to ignore us, the restaurant was not yet too busy. Once we seated ourselves, they were quite accommodating. I had to give 4 stars as the food was nice but not as good as other places on our trip. It is quite elegant but, at least for our dishes, the price and... More
