The setting is spectacular, with blooming shrubs, cacti and pottery on display in the garden surrounding the restaurant. The white table cloth and good cutlery made the lunch even more pleasant. The service was professional and friendly. I had a beef dish and my wife had chicken. Coffee and dessert made the day complete. If you visit this museum, do... More

A nice place next to a garden full of flowers and then a delicious meal. The weather was treacherous because of a chilly wind, but the staff of the restaurant offered a few blankets to continue enjoying our lunch.

This was quite possibly the best restaurant meal I've ever had. It came at the conclusion of a trip to the Sacred Valley, night before heading home to the SF Bay Area. Lots of miles under tired feet, thought it might be risky trying anything nice, but Cafe del Museo was wonderful. I had the Ceviche appetizer (sea bass &... More

Located around the beautiful garden of the Museo Larco this is a lovely respite from the heat and hustle. I had some scallops and a glass of wine. Extremely good.

As we discovered the restaurant on a previous visit to the Larco Museum, we listed the restaurant as a new favorite. We went to the restaurant without paying admission to the museum, as we wanted to enjoy the beauty of the gardens and green surroundings for lunch. Once again the food delighted our palates, and the surroundings helped us relax... More

This place is just perfect. Good service. A nice, locally inspired menu. Beautiful setting at the Museum garden. Candle lightned at night. Ideal for either having lunch before/after visiting the museum or finishing your day dinning after the visit. They close at 10 PM. Very convenient.

Wow this was a very nice surprise. After visiting the wonderful museum we stopped here for a quick drink and bite to eat. Fabulous menu and food. Presentation was outstanding and quality was excellent. If we didn't have dinner reservations I would have stayed longer.

We combined lunch at the Larco Museum restaurant with a visit to the museum, an experience we highly recommend. The Larco is one of Latin America's great pre-Columbian museums and specializes in Moche art, although its collection includes artifacts from the earliest civilizations through the Incas. The museum was renovated and expanded in 2010; access is available to all as... More

After spending a couple of hours admiring the extensive ceramic collection in Museo Larco, have a relaxing lunch or dinner at the Cafe, which is much more than a Cafe! Actually it is a very elegant indoor-outdoor restuarant (doesn´t mean you have to dress up, jeans are fine!) with a varied menu, child´s menu, excellent service and good food with... More
