Great Service, Beautiful View and good food

I was not impressed with the Francesco in Coral Gables, overpriced and tasteless ceviche but their counterpart in Lima is different. For starters service is excellent to the point that I almost ask not to come around my table again. Lunch was very good, I did not want to try the Pisco Sour because... read more

Every time I visit Lima I go to this restaurant since is one of my mom's favorites. Always leave happy with the food but I think its over priced, for example Gastón Acurio's La Mar was less expensive.

As we arrived we were greeted and welcomed by the owner even when we did not have reservation and were offered 2 seating options. We had conchas, tiradito and an outstanding rocoto filled with seafood. Amazing. The owner came twice to check if we were happy or needed anything. Servers very gentle and respectful. A bit expensive? Yes. Would I... More

Went there without a reservation on a Friday at lunch time. No problem finding a table and the service was quick, except for the main course.. we waited about 20 minutes between the first and second courses. Paiche de la selva was an excellent choice. It was fish with a mushrooms sauce and it came with an excellent green risotto... More

Yes there are prettier, trendier places like Mercado, but for seafood this is hands down the best in lima. Love the tiradito, conchas a la chalaca, arroz con mariscos, arroz en tinta de calamar!!!

Francesco is, in my opinion, the best seafood restaurant in Lima. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is top notch. Try any dish at Francesco and you will know that you are having the best seafood there is. It is simply the best. They are at the high-end of the market but life is too short to not... More

Francesco is one of only a few restaurants on the malecon (palisade) overlooking the parks and the ocean that are truly unique about Miraflores. Francesco is only open for five hours, noon to 5 pm. But don't get there at 5 and expect to be served. The chef quits at 5, so we suggest getting there by 4:30 or a... More

Francesco is one of the best cebicherias in Lima. The Cebiche Francesco with a cream-sauce is incredible and is seasoned perfectly. If you are able to make a reservation ahead of time, ask for a table near the window so you have a nice view. The ambiance is OK - its not particularly modern or romantic, but the food is... More
