The Amazon Bistro is at a quieter end of the Malecon. The interior is nice, but I prefer sitting outdoors. The food is really good and reasonably priced. This is a great place to relax for a while.

So we don't normally go to one restaurant when we visit a city. However with the Amazon Bistro we made an exception!! From the moment we arrived we enjoyed every minute of the experience. From delicious food for very cheap prices, to wonderfully friendly staff to a cool ambiance with a gentle breeze blowing in off the Amazon, to the... More

Nice old-world-charm restaurant on the malecon. Felt it was safe to eat here and ended up having a very good steak (cooked a nice medium rare) and a decent glass of wine. I probably wouldn't give it 5 stars if I were eating in any other city, but this may be the top spot in Iquitos. The two other restaurants... More

On the flight from Peru a college student, native of Iquitos , recommended this Bistro. Located along the river it offered unusual fare from the menus we had encountered during our travels in that country. Most outstanding and welcome was fabulous bread! Warm with a crunchy crust it was readily devoured by all 4 in our party. The waiter was... More

After being in the amazon for a few days, it was nice to eat some steak and fries. It turned out to be a nice option. I would go back any time. Great service too.

This was for me the only place where you could get a proper coffee, the most similar to the European "espresso". We had lunch there once and we weren't impressed by the menu.

It was a surprise to find this cozy, clean and nicely decorated bistro. Their menus are on tablets, the food was exquisite and they offer a wide selection from french, italian to peruvian food and desserts.

We ate here for dinner on our first day in Iquitos, and loved it. Between my kids' enthusiasm and my father's stomach issues, we ended up eating here for 4 of the 5 meals we had in Iquitos! Had we been less impressed, we might have explored more. The food did take a bit of time to come out, and... More

A cosy place with a great atmosphere. They play classy music in the background and offer free Widi. Staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. We really like the place and will come back, probably tomorrow!
