There was a lot on the menu and a great choice of drinks as well. Good safe food after you have been in the amazon or on the road eating stranger things. Price is too high for what you get but nice relaxing surroundings.

This is my pick for best in Iquitos. It's how I start my day. A lovely atmosphere located on the quiet section of the riverfront, the Bistro serves the best coffee in town. Their in-house baguettes are amazing (make sure they don't overtoast!), and since I was last here they have started offering croissants (both regular and chocolate, also made... More

Great food and coffee! I've had breakfast, brunch, snack, lunch and dinner at Amazon Bistro, and I've been there for drinks too, at different hours in different occasions and have never been disappointed. For me, it's still my favorite place to eat out when tired of local food. Price/quality wise, hard to beat, sure you can compare with food you've... More

This restaurant is rated number 1 on trip advisor- and I don't necessarily disagree, but considering this, and the fact that it's not cheap, I had expectations. I drink a lot of coffee: The coffee grinder was set far too hot, and the beans burnt- such an easy problem to change! My english breakfast was very good- considering its very... More

I've happily eaten here quite a few times, perhaps ten so far, and everything has been quite good, the place is old world lovely inside and has a few pleasant outside tables overlooking the Amazon. Friday night the French onion soup was authentic and among the best I've ever had (quite a lot. Fridays only, Saturdays if some is left).... More

Well there is nowhere else to eat and drink in Iquitos is there? Excellent coffee, breakfast dinner and Pico Sours, more so my wife tells me.... Well worth checking out not only for the food but the building itself is a real credit to the owners

I always look forward to coming to this place. The service is great (especially compared to Iquitos standards) and the food is great. A nice option to the regional food you will find everywhere else. The pain perdu is fantastic. The capuccino is the best in town. Except when I get here I remember why I stop coming: smoke. Against... More

I was surprised when found this place. Very classy, with a beautiful sunset river view, mahogany and marble everywhere; and great international food!! The menu comes in a tablet!!! I tried the Carbonara meat...it was really good, and before I ordered an amazing Salmon and Quinoa salad; food was so good as the Belgium beer I ordered (not cheap at... More

Came here for a meal and had the Kobe burger. Was very good (a bit buttery) and the chips it came with were nice - the only issue for one of us was that the burger were quite rare (which I liked but my mate didn´t). We were given olives and bread while we waited and there was good service... More
