I really enjoy Huasai. They always have a vegetarian entree, from a lima bean and tomato stew to broccoli souffle. Around S/13 for an appetizer, entree, and juice. They also have a few desserts. Menus change daily and they are open for breakfast and lunch, close around 4pm. Was a nice way to try some local food in Iquitos and... More

Nice restaurant for a quick, inexpensive lunch. Standard "Iquitos menus" but prepared with a bit more care than elsewhere. Good value for money!

This restaurant had been suggested to us at our hotel and we were very pleased with the lunch we had there. We both chose the fixed price menu which provided lots of choices and a very reasonable price, 12 soles I think. I started with a very good salad of potatoes, ham and chicken and chose fish with camu camu... More

The food is fair here but they rush clients through and often the main is on your table before you've had more than a couple of mouthfuls of the entrée. They do rely on high turnover but this is over the top. It's cheap, could be cheerful if it were more relaxed.

Our tour brought us here the first day and we were so impressed we came back on our own before we left Iquitos. I'm peruvian and I can say very good food!

Reasonable menu and good food if you get there early enough in the lunch time, otherwise they run out of selections very fast. One of the few lunch restaurants with air conditioning, so it does get very busy on the hottest days! Prices are reasonable at about 12 soles (US $4.50) for their lunch menu including starter, main dish and... More

The restaurant is big, the choice is good for a menu (12 soles), with a good value. Iquitos people like it a lot, most of travellers too. For my part, I've felt that every plate, every dish was too salty... Some other restaurants, for the same price, give much more salad too. In brief : a good value, but too... More
