I think this place attracts a lot of foreigners because it's right on the plaza. However the food and service are terrible. There are definitely better places to eat in Iquitos so you shouldn't need to go here ever really!

This restaurant is easy to find just off the plaza and near the river. The restaurant has a lot of very good reviews and we would agree with those reviews. We ate at this restaurant several times and always had great food and excellent service. On one visit , my wife told our server (and we are so SORRY we... More

If you like giving money to an old racist leftover from the oil days.......Gerald is the guy. He is known in town as the evil guy who pokes starving kids with needles.... to shoo them away from his restaurant...... which illegally takes up the entire public sidewalk. It gets better as he has 3 seperate law suits against him for... More

I ate breakfast here early on a Sunday morning (Oct 5th 2014). The food and service were ok. However, the owner (I presumed) and a group of his friends from the US were also sat outside eating. The content of their conversation was quite offensive (racist), it was apparent they thought they could get away with saying anything. Those good... More

Good Food Good Service! If you're on the Ayuwasca Diet, or not, this establishment has a varied menu. 3rd floor has air condition, on those hot days this is a huge plus!

I can't even say; but don't do it. This is one of the places that disrespects everybody: the guests, the town, the locals, and the gringos.

I was not impressed with the food at all. I was drawn like many travelers and tourist will be by the name "Yellow Rose of Texas". I wasn't expecting American food but I did order something local, the alligator with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were prepared terribly. I couldn't even eat them. The alligator was very tough, not tender... More

We ate here a few times. They have a large menu, and do a pretty good job. It is owned by a guy from Texas and caters to the American tourist trade. Great coffee!

Great food, your choice of North American Food or even Peruvian food--we loved it, sat outside, nice ambience, great staff, went back many times! Highly recommend.
