The Yellow Rose is world renown as a main place for gringos to meet and eat. If looking for friends in the area, this is one of two places to find them. The staff will grab you off the street. The menu is a mix of western and local options.

we actually went upstairs to the Margaritaville sports bar with the same menu as the Yellow Rose downstairs. The food was great, the beer very cold and the service excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.

Having just finished in the jungle, myself and 2 friends were looking for a lively spot to watch the opening matches of the World Cup. This is definitely the place. Loads of screens, comfy chairs and a decent selection of local and imported beers. If you're looking for a place to catch a game then would definitely recommend here! The... More

This restaurant would be a better fit as a rest stop along an interstate. Lots of quirky decorations and americana. It doesn't fit in Iquitos but we were happy with the fact that they have an upstairs sports bar where we were able to catch the champions league football final. By reading the various notes the owner has posted on... More

We had a very nice lunch at Yellow Rose after returning from an excellent stay at the Explorama Lodge on the Napo river. While the huge menu included many North American dishes, the local dishes were excellent. Patarashca, fish cooked in banana leaves, was our favorite as was deep fried alligator appetizer. Recommended!

I have eaten at the Yellow Rose numerous times while in Iquitos. The food is always good and safe. I recommend the Lomo Saltado! Both the food and drink are safe to consume.

The owner would great us every morning when we came for breakfast!! If you have any questions on good tours or what to see, he's the guy to ask, very strait up & no BS!! Prices are fair! It's Avery unique looking restaurant and most defiantly worth a least one stop

Then again, what's not fun in Iquitos? Besides the obvious good food, there's also a fun bar upstairs with places to sit and chill and a pool table as well as a real dart board with real darts to use! The owner is very nice and will spend plenty of time explaining any part of the menu you might wonder... More

This is a popular spot, all the tourists and expats seem to be there. They have good cold beer, which is tough to get, it seems.Food was just ok, prices are reasonable, and the owner will likely want to converse with you at some point. Everyone seems to know this place in Iquitos!

We enjoyed our meal here, sitting outside in a street near the waterfront in Inquitos. Lovely chilli con carne. Very nice staff/service. Attractive interior. Rather a lot of excitement when the kitchen caught fire, and firemen came running. The entertainment value of the meal was unexpectedly high! (You will be pleased to hear all was well, and normal service continued... More
