Ayahuasca Menu

I ordered the vegetarian burrito on the Ayahuasca menu. It was large and tasty. I would definitely order it again.

We had 3 hour free time before taking the plane home and wanted to have a light dinner. Walked by the restaurant and a waitress invited us to come and look (the restaurant has very unique decoration which calls your attention) so we went in. She invited us to the second floor that was amazing, with TV screens, flags on... More

This was one of my favourite places to eat in Iquitos. Fun and cheap with good food. The steamed river fish was excellent.

This place is all about the atmosphere and it has loads of it. The decor isn't really my initial thing but it grows and it's certainly well loved and thoughtful. The best thing about it though is the staff employed. All seem to love their jobs and really enjoy chatting to customers. I've seen a few bad reviews about the... More

Gerald, his wife and staff were are the best. Gerald helped us with questions about Iquitos and made my birthday special with cake and singing. The food was excellent there. We tried several different dishes. The fish cooked in banana leaf is the best. You must try it! The beer was always cold and reasonably priced. They keep the rift... More

As a gringo I found this restaurant to be a breath of fresh air......offering more than chicken and rice. The hamburger was actually very good and the dessert shakes were refreshing. They offer regional fare but I would recommend going elsewhere for truly Peruvian food.

The owner is from Texas and you will know it as soon as you walk in. They serve authentic Peruvian dishes and drinks in a fun atmosphere with American memorabilia all around. They also sell local art and accept both PEN (soles) and USD. Try the 7 Roots Sour!

We went there again and again and again. Being from the south it is nice to find likeminded individuals like Gerald and his buddies there. The menu was amazingly varied and even though the food was not superb, the friendly atmosphere, big screen TVs with whatever sport you want to watch makes up for any shortcomings. Great American food. Extremely... More

I wasn't looking for "a taste of home" or of Texas, but my work companion and I went for late dinner out of hotel and it was open, and nice young lady on the staff invited us in. Had a great dinner. We started coming for breakfast too. Met the owner, a Texan (surprise!) with long experience in Peru; most... More
