A central, basic, efficient eatery overlooking the Plaza de Armas with an extensive menu. Not exactly fine dining but the food is generally good.

Haven't tried the food but the smoothies and juices were delicious, and we spent about 30mins choosing from the huge menu each time. Shame that its so open to the busy traffic of the plaza, it means its not very relaxing or peaceful. But good place, quite pricey for Iquitos though!

Very popular dining spot for locals and tourists, very friendly staff, not always fast service, but worth the wait. Good pancakes!

Just came back from breakfast here. We were forced to go in due to it being one of the few places open on Sunday. For $6 we got two flavorless eggs, one slice of toast and an average coffee. Do yourself a huge favor and stay.

I've had dinner at Ari's two times during my staying in Iquitos, and I can really recommend it: tasty and reasonably cheap food, good and kind service, excellent location. You should try in particular local paiche ceviche (but they make a great paiche burger, too!) and camu camu juice; both key lime pie and chocolate cake are delicious! Nice and... More

Ari's is a very good, cheap option. It is right on the plaza so it is a great place to enjoy a meal and people watch. You have to try the green aji that they have there and most other places in the Amazon it is very good.

The portions here were very generous and the prices very reasonable. If you're missing a typical burger or rotisserie chicken, then this is the place eat! The restaurant is often crowded and usually there are a number of tourists here. It's located right on the edge of the Plaza de Armas (the main city square).

Popular restaurant presumably more because of the price than either the quality of the food or the service. That said - I guess you get what you pay for

Very popular with the locals, great variety of food. Fantastic fresh grape juice (best without sugar). The food is what you'd expect: a lot of fried food but its reasonably priced. The service is hit and miss as the waitresses are rushed off their feet. Great for people watching.

Locally owned and right on the Plaza de Armas. They offer a very large variety menue but there is nothing fancy about this place. Clearly a place many of the local people like. Also note that the Ari´s Hotel is owned by the same people and if you ask at the hotel you can get a 20% discount.
