Great regional food!

Let's be honest, this place doesn't look good at first sight but we're talking about food right? Food was good and the prices were ok, it's a good option if you're in Iquitos!

Our mototaxi driver suggested this little place. When we got there, it was heaving with locals; always a good sign. The food was delicious. They serve freshly cooked chicken, fish, beef heart skewers, seafood and homemade sauces - all reasonably priced.

Blanquita just didn't work for us. Maybe our expectations were too high based on others reviews. We were very excited when we walked in. This is just the kind of place we like. Lots of locals and lots of energy. We ordered two different whole grilled fish. Both were very dried out and had been sitting around for a long... More

Don't judge a place for how it look like... it's an small place with a delicious regional food. In my humble opinion the 'Juane' with 'Gallina Regional' is one of the best dishes in this place and the 'Arroz Chaufa' is the worst (OK! it tastes nice but it's not really good!). Don't forget to taste 'ají charapita', they gives... More

ENGLISH: Tipical regional cuisine, one of my favourit places to eat dinner in Iquitos. It's a great place to take your friends and newcomers for the full experience. It's simple and clean, the portions are well served and the service is friendly. A must for anyone living or visiting Iquitos. ESPAÑOL: La tipica comida regional loretana, siempre fué uno de... Perhaps more oriented to local customers it is not a touristical place, but very recommendable. Wide offer of "Juane" and other local dishes. The only negative point for me is they don't have dessert.

Came here for dinner following the good reviews. Since it was one of my first days in Iquitos I was not aware that fish tends to be rather uninteresting everywhere you go. The juane de yuca was very good. I guess the review would be more positive if I would have chosen meat.
