Excellent restaurant with great food and service. Very close to the Belmond hotel and well worth the walk.

For a great range of food (from steak to pizza) with a decent not too pricey bottle of wine then for this sort of price range (£25) per person then you are unlikely to do much better. We (2 of us) had a starter to share ( there are 4 or 5 choices) and a salad which we shared and... More

Baco was a very good surprise. We went beacuse is from the same owner of Cicciolina. We had one of the beat dinners in Peru. The dishes wore amazing! Would go back 1000 times!

We had a lovely time in Baco for a diner, the food was excellent (especially the deserts) and the decoration of the place really nice. Definitely worth the price!

We walked (5 minutes) from our hotel to this very relaxing and lively venue. Reservations recommended. Casual dress. Traditionlal Peruvian food and pizzas(!). Two of our group had traditional fare (alpaca steak and seafood). We opted for a change and ordered pizza - half with Peruvian "hot" (now I like hot and everything we had had in Peru to date... More

Had eaten in their sister restaurant, Cicciolina which we loved but found this experience very disappointing. The Alpaca was nowhere near as good as we had experienced elsewhere, slightly tough and lacking in flavour and the pizza was soggy and heavy. On the evening we visited there were very few customers and therefore little atmosphere and service was quite slow.

Cicciolina was all booked, but they brought us to Baco, a restaurant run by the same people. The food was very good with great flavour EXCEPT for the pasta, so do not order the pasta. I did try the cuy (guinea pig) because I like to try new things, but I personally was not a fan. It was cooked nicely... More

On a visit with a colleague, we were in search of seafood (beyond trout...lots of trout on menus of other restaurants in Cusco that we saw)...came upon this place - great wines from S. America, excellent service, menus in Span & Eng, and the food...wonderful. grilles veggies and seafood, lovely salad with avocado and grilled pear. Went back again for... More

My fiancé and I ate here on a trip to Cusco in September 2014. He proposed to me that day, and we were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our engagement. The atmosphere was really cozy and romantic, with small tea light candles on each table. The food was tasty with a wide variety of menu options (including the fabled... More

One of the nicest restaurants in town, however like all good restaurants in town, it had a fusion twist to meet taste bud of today’s trendy tourists and local well-to-do’s. It’s an upscale place; unlike most tourist restaurants in town, people dressed up to eat here. Great menu and plating looked very pretty, but execution was not so good. Our... More
