My favorite restaurant ever!!!

Baco was amazing! This review cannot even give it as much credit as it deserves. My boyfriend and I were in Cusco for 2 weeks, just left today :(. Sadly, we didn't try Baco until our second to last night, it was so good we had to go again on our last night before leaving Peru. The service was... read more

You could be sitting in any fun city in the world in this charming bistro but the menu reminds you that you are in Peru. Their food is upscale, presented well, and full of flavor indigenous to Peru. Our group ordered guinea pig, lamb, beef, pork, and fish and every dish received rave reviews. The best thing we did was... More

We enjoyed the ambience, the really good food and a nice service. Surely worth for getting something else when you stay longer in Cusco and if you want change from the many other similar restaurants.

We really try to eat "local" when we travel, and this local restaurant turned out to be our best meal in Cusco. We started with the Chef's Plate ~ grilled cheese strips, grilled potatoes with cheese sauce, pickled olives ~ lots of flavor, nice spicy sauces. Then came an amazing salad of arugula, roasted pear, avacado, cucumber and tomato, with... More

Nice restaurant, fair staff but food was not our cup of tea. Salads not very good, calzone poor and pork cutlets for kids were too grassy ... try another one! Ps. bottles of water came opened , a thing that annoyed me as I was not sure if it was tap water or still water. The sell sofistication food but... More

Although out of our normal budget price range we decided we were due for a good meal and some service and the staff at Baco didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, the service perfect and the atmosphere pleasant. Well done!

What do you get when you cross a Parisian bistro, a funky San Francisco eatery and Cuzco? Baco. A fabulous restaurant in Cuzco with an excellent wine list (for Peru) and an eclectic menu with an Andean flare.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, though we were among other tourists, rather than locals. We were treated to a complimentary sampling of Peruvian snacks, prior to devouring our Alpaca burger which was some of the most tender and flavorful Alpaca we had on our trip. And all at a steal, of course, compared to NYC prices.

In the same ownership as the always booked out Cicciolina, the food and service are stunning. We started with a complimentary antipasto plate. The main course was sufficient, so we ddidn't get to try the desserts. Highly recommended

Baco was recommended by our tour guide so we thought we'd give it a try. Very glad we did! Our waiter was very nice and extremely attentive. We had an appetizer "ceramic something or other" - fantastic!!!! Cusqueno cerveza (local beer) was wet and cold after a long day. My wife had a Pisco sour which was very good. Some... More
