Lovely late lunch

Arrived in Cusco at 3 having had no lunch, most restaurants in the neighborhood stopped serving lunch at 3, but Baco stays open. Nice lunch, pleasant atmosphere and great staff. My daughter lives in Cusco and Baco is her favorite restaurant. I definitely see why. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. The dining area had a trendy, urban vibe that we loved. The music that night was great, too, with Katy and her band performing Afro-Peruvian music. Nice groove. All-around great experience.

We arrived in Cusco and decided Baco would be our first restaurant. It is the sister restaurant to a very popular Cicciolina. I had the Alpaca with bacon laced sweet potato mash in a light wasabi sauce. The Alpaca was incredibly delicious ( my first time trying it). It is in the same class as Kobe beef so hats off... More

Close to Casa San Blas, walking distance...we were invited to listen to a talented Lady, Katherine Calmet, who sang, and accompanied by two other musicians on guitar and percussion. Terrific vocals and an active, interactive crowd...great music, and certainly a wonderful evening before leaving Cusco!

Laid back pizza joint that takes reservations and has a nice ambiance. The menu is very limited, and many of the appetizers were fried. Servers were friendly. Decent wine list, but we needed to put our bottle in an ice bucket. Don't have specials. Nice to serve an amuse bouche.

A sister, and restaurant to the incredibly popular Cicciolina, where we failed to get a reservation. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant was quiet and the menu less interesting than Cicciolina. That said, our meal was very tasty, the staff were friendly and a busy room would make it a cosy place to eat.

A tip from a local led us to this low-key restaurant- We enjoyed a very good dinner but the performance after was really a highlight. It was traditional afro-peruvian music and had the entire joint jumping. Highly recommended!

Petite and located on a strategic location of Cusco, Baco restaurant is open for lunch and dinner with a great menu and wine list. Creative cooking, simple but special, is a nice place to hang out for a good meal. Very well recommended.

Went on our first night in Cusco and it was a great way to start the trip. The waitress was extremely helpful- suggested not drinking any alcohol to avoid any altitude sickness. Suggested great light dishes- roasted vegetables, salads. The rest of the menu looked great too. Same owners as Cicciolina.
