Had eaten in their sister restaurant, Cicciolina which we loved but found this experience very disappointing. The Alpaca was nowhere near as good as we had experienced elsewhere, slightly tough and lacking in flavour and the pizza was soggy and heavy. On the evening we visited there were very few customers and therefore little atmosphere and service was quite slow.

Cicciolina was all booked, but they brought us to Baco, a restaurant run by the same people. The food was very good with great flavour EXCEPT for the pasta, so do not order the pasta. I did try the cuy (guinea pig) because I like to try new things, but I personally was not a fan. It was cooked nicely... More

On a visit with a colleague, we were in search of seafood (beyond trout...lots of trout on menus of other restaurants in Cusco that we saw)...came upon this place - great wines from S. America, excellent service, menus in Span & Eng, and the food...wonderful. grilles veggies and seafood, lovely salad with avocado and grilled pear. Went back again for... More

My fiancé and I ate here on a trip to Cusco in September 2014. He proposed to me that day, and we were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our engagement. The atmosphere was really cozy and romantic, with small tea light candles on each table. The food was tasty with a wide variety of menu options (including the fabled... More

One of the nicest restaurants in town, however like all good restaurants in town, it had a fusion twist to meet taste bud of today’s trendy tourists and local well-to-do’s. It’s an upscale place; unlike most tourist restaurants in town, people dressed up to eat here. Great menu and plating looked very pretty, but execution was not so good. Our... More

Baco has a very nice wine list. Food was delicious, from interesting appetizers, pizzas, salads. Great fresh seafood dishes.

We loved Baco almost as much as Cicciolina. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great for a young(ish) couple, and the service was quite good. If we travel back to Cusco in the future (with a daughter in tow now), we will definitely eat here.

we spent a few days in Cusco in July 2014 and happened to dine twice at Baco. The food is good, the wine list is excellent, and the waiters were relaxed. Nice!

I had dinner here with my wife and daughter, but it was not our first choice. We originally had been recommended to go to another, more popular restaurant, but the wait without reservations was over an hour. We tried Baco, also without reservations, and they were able to squeeze us in. I had alpaca steaks. This was the first time... More
